IPHONE VETERAN SWITCHES TO GALAXY Z FOLD 7

I expected another IOS, my 7th model... but the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 appeared in my feed, with a chance to try it out. No regrets and amazed how intuitive this phone is. What I think I might have lost, has been replaced with a powerful mini computer using Dex and Galaxy AI. I've switched ecosystems and I'm wondering how I made.it this long, without this amazing phone.

Good but has some downsides

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love having the larger screen for watching videos, games and multitasking. Being able to have someone's text order and the food app side by side is a small time save but it's much more convenient compared to flipping back and forth between the apps. I haven't done much of anything with the Galaxy AI features, it's just not a game changer for what I use my phone for. Durability will always be a concern with these devices. While I haven't had anything major break, I do have a strange bump on the inner screen crease that feels like something is pushing on the screen. I've sent it in for repair so we will see what happens with that. I kept my old phone so I have the luxury of being able to just send it in, but if it's your only device there may be some issues.

I’ve been using my Galaxy Z Fold 7 for a few weeks now, and it’s completely transformed how I work and play. Whether I’m streaming movies, gaming, or handling work tasks, the device is a powerhouse. The large foldable screen makes multitasking seamless , I can watch a video while taking notes in another app without switching back and forth.
For gaming, the performance is incredible, and the refresh rate makes every movement smooth and immersive. Movies and sports look stunning in vivid color and crisp detail, almost like a mini theater in my hands.
What really stands out is how Galaxy AI integrates into my daily routine. Smart suggestions, multitasking features, and adaptive settings make using the phone feel effortless and personalized. Perfect thickness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought the fold 4 5 and 7 and the 7 by far is better. The other folds were good but they always felt a bit bulky. Its a lot better with the fold 7 when folded into a normal phone the thickness is about the size of a regular phone. The galaxy Ai is great. It understands better what you want it to do. You can be vague with your requests and it still understands

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used flip 5 for 2 yrs and since flip 7 has Exynos, I decided to buy fold 7.
First time using fold 7 and so far so good.
Yet, I have few issues, but I think it is mostly app issues with new UI.
1. Android Audo doesn't work property.
When connecting, Map doesn't show at all and there is no selection for Map. So, I have to re-connect until showing. Tested on my 2020 Benz and 2025 Benz. At least 2020 Benz is wired Android Auto, so I just need to unplug and re connect the wire to work, but 2025 Benz is wireless, so I have to remove the phone list and reconnect. This never happened on flip 5. This is annoying..
2. When using Aliexpress, the phone freezes.
When I open Aliexpress app from an email link, the phone freezes. This never happens before on flip 5. I just have to wait about a min to work property.
3. Facebook and Instagram msgs don't load from old msgs somehow. I have fast internet, but it just doesn't load. This also never happened on flip 5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Z Fold 7 more than I use my laptop. The convenience of this platform is ridiculous. I connected a Bluetooth mouse and it was a game changer. It's a bit on the pricey side but if you use it like it's intended to be used , trust it's worth it. The lack of S pen was a bummer but, I'll make do. The only thing i haven't used yet is the Galaxy AI. Long story short , i love my Galaxy Fold 7!!!!
