Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is considered a major step
on October 23, 2025
Posted by: Chukwu
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is considered a major step forward, with reviews highlighting its significantly slimmer and lighter design, a larger 8-inch inner display, and a powerful new Snapdragon Elite chip for top-tier performance. Key improvements include a 200MP main camera, enhanced durability with less visible crease, and a normal-thickness phone feel when closed due to a more standard 21:9 aspect ratio front screen. However, it omits the under-display camera in favor of a punch-hole and no longer supports the S Pen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this phone for 2 weeks now, and it's absolutely phenomenal. Ive used it to stream, game, emulate, and multitasking. I love it. Galaxy AI has also been really useful, and has been nice to have. Ive really enjoyed this phone.

No S Pen? No Problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, I thought the lack of an S Pen would make this a huge "no deal." But, my opinion has changed. This can be seen on the market too. So many Z Fold 7 sales. I'd use the S Pen to assist in refining my drawings or when using Galaxy AI, but the AI is so good the drawing SNAPS to whatever I'm trying to erase. It just knows. It just works. It's amazing. The weight and thinness of the device is amazing too. You won't regret it. No S Pen? No Problem.

Hey Avinash,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Galaxy Z Fold7. This device truly lives up to its reputation for surprises, with durability that is hard to match. The Galaxy Z Fold7 features a screen rated for up to 500,000 folds, a new titanium frame, and an Armor Flex Hinge that is both slimmer and lighter. Its inner screen boasts a shock-resistant design inspired by bulletproof glass, a 50% thicker Ultra-Thin Glass layer, and a high-elasticity adhesive, all tested for resilience. The Armor Flex Hinge is 27% thinner and 43% lighter, yet still durable enough to withstand the rated number of folds. While the Galaxy S25 Ultra is a strong choice, the Galaxy Z Series stands out, offering innovation, an improved UI, and features not available on many other devices. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for choosing Samsung’s innovative solutions.

So light and still solid. Hardly no bump in screen

This phone is much better than I thought it would be. I traded in my Fold 4 for this Fold 7 and was surprised at the lightness of the phone and yet it is still very solid and very high performance. I am disappointed that they did not include the LED cover over the big screen camera as in earlier versions. I now have to see a dark spot on the big screen when watching a movie or video. The ripple in the big screen at the folded area is much better than the earlier versions. I hardly notice it whereas the others was a noticeable bump. I am very happy with this phone so far. Let's see if the screen laminate holds up after a year or so. The earlier versions bubbled after a few months.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good phone, good screens, good cameras, fast processing and light weight a plus. Negative no S-Pen, liked that function. Wish there was an alternative.
