For the last generations I have been getting folds, and I love them. Sadly, I know I am a minority on this though, but I went ahead and return it due to lacking a lot of the features I love of the Fold lineup. The inner display camera, the s-pen support, and the narrow aspect ratio on the front screen display; making the inner display more of a wide screen display rather than a square display.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there CareS,
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Galaxy Z Fold7. The Fold series continues to evolve, combining innovation with a sleek design. It features our most advanced, re-engineered design, making it the thinnest and lightest Fold yet. With large screens on both the inside and outside, it delivers a seamless, immersive experience, what we call the Ultra experience, unfolded. The Galaxy Z Fold7 now supports generative edits via the 200MP camera. It delivers up to 24 hours of battery life and increased storage capacity to meet your needs. Hey there EmkM,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Galaxy Z Fold7. Note taking is a big part of how many people use foldables, especially with that larger canvas when the device is open. We appreciate you calling out how much the S Pen support matters to your workflow and creativity. Feedback like this helps highlight what customers value most when using the Z Fold for productivity. I am coming from a Samsung S22 Ultra 5G. I was hesitant because I really didn't want to give up my (Bluetooth) S-Pen capability since Samsung ruined the functionality and took away its fully capabilities. All the models after the S22 really doesn't offer anything "new" except for maybe a few specs slightly better. Considering that they promoted the Z Fold7 heavily this year, along with many enthusiasts providing positive reviews, it peaked my interest.
Long story short, I purchased the 1TB/16gb Fold 7 and I couldn't be happier. Still upset about the loss of the S-pen but the speed and ease of use make up for it.
Please keep in mind a few things regarding the tablet mode of this phone. There are a lot of bugs. A good portion of apps don't work with this form factor. Sometimes the inner screen freezes and apps stop working, forcing you to press the power button to lock it and reopen it. Sometimes that doesnt even help and you need to do some troubleshooting to get it to display/unfreeze. Sure, maybe I am just a one-off situation. This didnt just happen, by the way, this has been happening since day one. I hope there is some sort of bug fix or update in the future.
Other than that this phone is phenomenal. You will absolutely "wow" people who see you use it and you will find yourself enjoying doom-scrolling or even multitasking with it more than you anticipate. I 100% recommend

This is by far the best phone to own. Folded it is just like a regular phone, but flip it open and it is like a small tablet. It is much lighter than earlier models, and has a solid battery life. Memory is not an issue either.

After using it for a month, I’m extremely satisfied. Everything from the weight and slimness to the performance is just perfect. Compared to the Ultra series, the only downsides are the smaller battery life and the lack of a high-magnification telephoto lens. I really hope they can strengthen these two areas in the next Z Fold.
