[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent foldable phone. The only thing lacking is a larger front screen and bigger battery. I find myself charging a couple times a day. I also feel the background software should be better optimized as well. I turn off a lot of the background use of apps but still have a lot of phantom drain. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series is absolutely fantastic—I really enjoy using it! The large foldable screen is a game-changer for streaming my favorite shows and even for immersive video game play. Plus, I really love the camera—its functionality and zoom capabilities are top-notch. It’s powerful, sleek, and just a joy to carry around. Highly recommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a great powerhouse. There are a few shortcomings that I'll definitely want addressed in future phones -
1. Battery: though Samsung has tried to optimize the battery use, why not think about putting a larger one. The phone barely lasts 12 hours if you actively use it during the day. If it goes 16-18 hours, it will be wonderful.
2. Camera: not saying that the camera is bad but it is not what is offered on ultra phones. My S24 Ultra (not even talking about S25 Ultra) camera was slightly better than this one. If this is top I'd the line phone, why but put the best cameras.
3. S-pen: jumping from S24 Ultra to Z fold 7, I'm missing the S-pen.
4. Super fast charging
Now, coming to the good. I love the new form factor of the phone. When buying I thought I'll be using the bigger display only 20% of the time but I use it more often, close to 50%.
Hearing lot of rumors that Samsung is going to address some of the issues I mentioned above in the upcoming Z Fold 8 and that the crease will be completely gone - looking forward to see what improvements Samsung is going to bring.
AI: While I like Gemini (pro) chat and overall features of the phone but Gemini as Assistant sucks - Google Assistant was much better. I kind of updated Gemini on my home devices as well and I'm hating my decision. Gemini Assistant is slower and annoying - sometimes has hard time which Google Assistant was able to do flawlessly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely missed my Galaxy Fold. I had a fold 5 and 6. I went to Galaxy S25 ultra. It was a good phone, but I just really miss the big screen. Now I watch everything again on my phone instead of my tablet. I also love the new AI features on my new Galaxy Fold 7.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Galaxy AI is good. I think it has some very good functionalities, more than any other when I think I think they're really easy things that could be done. But really good implementing, especially the calls. And this this stuff I would like better galaxy, a I in settings, would be really useful. And better swipe in gestures to be more fluid, faster
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a long time Note/Ultra user starting with the Note 4 and up to the 24 Ultra. I was always holding out on buying a Fold until Samsung made the front screen wider and the device fully close without a gap. The Fold 7 checked both of those items. I love that, when closed, the overall size of the device is smaller than all my standard style phones. The smaller size makes one-handed operation so much easier, though I added a handle to the back to ensure that I do not drop it. From personal email to managing my personal life, to answering emails for work this device is helping my day to day be more productive. I am not the best photographer and sometimes my subject, my toddler son, does not stay still, but GalaxyAI helps me impove the photos so that they look great and can be shared with the whole family. Another awesome feature with GalaxyAI is the search freature in your gallery, I have over 12 years of photos in my phone which is hard to find what I am looking for in an instant. With the enhanced search capabilities, I put in a key word like "Bathroom" and I was able to find my completed bathrrom from my old house in seconds without scrolling. The only cons that I can think of is that there is no S Pen or support for it, that the telepoto camera is not the same as the Ultra series and the charging for both wired and wireless is not the same as the Ultra series. These problems do not stop me from loving this device and I will probably never go back to a standard style phone.
