Good Phone - Failed Folding Screen

The phone is a good size and has a battery that lasts the day and then some. With the phone being thin it does need a good case or you start to think the phone might bend by opening and closing it.
Unfortunately, I have had the phone for around 4 months now and inside screen has already completely failed. I would say I use the inside unfolded screen an average amount so I am not even a heavy user. The inside screen started with a large white area appearing on the bottom of the inside screen. Then it moved to green vertical lines all up and down the right screen. Eventually the entire left side of the screen would stay black. It has now moved on to around 90% of the time you open it the screen won't turn on at all.
I am hoping this is a problem they can soon fix as I have seen threads in the community with similar problems.
Overall, when the phone is working it is nice to have. You can get a lot of work done with the inside screen for daily tasks from emails to calendars and video watching. However, the folding part of the screen may not be as well designed as the typical Samsung screen you might be used to as a traditional phone design from Samsung tends to be far more durable. With the price of the phone and how fast it failed I am not sure I would risk going for this type of phone again. At this point I am hoping it was not a large mistake on my part.

Slim, light, and fast. Center crease is not noticeable as it was seemed on YouTube clips. Front screen is very usable in most occasions, while inner screen is fantastic in doing multi tasks and watching videos.
Build quality is top notch and the the design is more subtle than flashy.

Foldable Future

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Fold 7 day to day. I work at a bank during the week. And spend my time exploring around town and playing video games. During exploring the camera take amazing photos. In a recent trip to Japan with my mom the Galaxy AI helped with editing the photos. It was the first time I used it and it was easy! My mom and I were both impressed. It helped with getting around and researching with the larger screen inside. For when I'm home the much larger front screen now makes the phone much more usable than prior generations. Its incredible they were able to pack all this and somehow make it so thin. As a user of the fold series since the Fold 3. This is truly in my opinion peak level foldable phone. Don't forget a battery that still somehow holds up to literally all day use. I have zero regrets on picking this phone up and I'm positive other Fold 7 users agree.

I Absolutely Love My Z Fold 7.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an Ultra user since Samsung first introduced them. Ive always been curious about the Fold series, but reluctant to switch. Based solely on 2 things. The bulk of the Fold and the ever present crease. Then Samsung released the Fold 7 and the advertising ahead of its release really gave me the last nudge that I needed to push me into considering a switch. Now I will admit that there is still a visible crease. The more you look at your phone the less you see it. The thinness of this phone is absolutely remarkable. To this day i still dont understand how it even operates being this thin. I have been using my 7 now for 2 months and I have to say. Aside from a small downgrade in the lenses of the camera system. The Ultra truly now, UnFolds. This is absolutely the Ultra in foldable form and I am now totally and wholly among the Folder masses. The Galaxy Ai on this device is truly unrivaled. I spend countless hours in conversation and even debate with Gemini and find that the new intergradable capabilities with real life assistance at the top of the list among SmartPhone Ai systems. My one complaint is battery life. The more we come to rely on hour phones. The more our phones rely on their battery, to be able to aide us in everyway possible throughout the day. Silicon technology is already pushing battery life further and further in other devices and I wish Samsung would follow suit.

Disappoints it with the samsung fold 7

I had a samsung fold 4 & 5. I decided to upgrade to the seven without doing my homework. I was extremely disappointed to find out that the.S pen is no longer supported on the fold 7. Having an eye impairment ei brag to everyone and told many people with low vision.That the samsung phone phone is the best thing ever. The big screen is amazing and helps tremendously. But the s pen also helps a lot. It is truly what sets at apart from any other phone. I used my s pen to help of things and being low vision sometimes even if you have small fingers like I do your fingers just get in the way. But I could pull out my s.Pen and do what I need to do. Not to mention that I am a student.So I take my phone using my s.Pen. not having the s pen is a deal breaker for me. It is a very thin phone and it feels comfortable in the hand but I'd rather have a larger phone with the s.Pen feature. I think i'm going to take this 7 back.
