The Fold Perfected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a longtime Galaxy Fold user (since the Fold 2), I’ve been waiting for this form factor to truly deliver on its original promise: a full-sized smartphone that unfolds into a tablet. With the Galaxy Fold 7, that vision is complete! When closed, the Fold 7 is a true flagship phone—comparable in thickness and usability to my Galaxy S26 Ultra. The outer display is stunning, and fully functional, finally it's not just short tasks. When closed, it’s easy to forget you’re even using a foldable.
The addition and maturity of Galaxy AI features take things to another level. Writing emails, coordinating with my team, and editing photos and videos all feel effortless. What surprised me most is how intuitive and seamlessly integrated Galaxy AI is across the apps I already use daily.
When unfolded, entertainment is a standout. Whether I’m gaming or streaming , the experience is sublime. Playing Call of Duty Mobile with a controller and kickstand feels almost unfair—my friends and coworkers are genuinely jealous. And when it comes to watching YouTube or Netflix, I have a portable theater experience! The speakers are loud and the display is bright, performing beautifully even in bright sunlight.
Battery and performance are excellent. My phone is fast and responsive in even the most demanding moments with multiple apps side by side. I have no issue getting through the full day of heavy use.
If you've been waiting for the Fold to reach its final form, this is the one!

The fact that I can go from phone to tablet

It makes the experience seamlessly perfect. I don't need to heavy edit my picture. Galaxy AI does it for me.

I love how the a.i features are very helpful when I don't know stuff on the internet and how I can circle pictures and it tells me what or how much it costs. This phone is like a super smart assistant, I love it!!

Great phone great features

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 has quickly become one of my favorite smartphones. From the moment I turned it on, I was impressed with how simple and easy it was to use. Setting up the phone was incredibly straightforward. Using Samsung Smart Switch made transferring my contacts, photos, apps, and messages from my old device quick and hassle-free.
One of the best things about the Z Fold7 is how easy it is to personalize. You can customize wallpapers, widgets, and your home screen to make the phone feel like your own. The only thing I wish I could do is change the background of my conversations in Google Messages.
The biggest highlight of the Z Fold7 is the large folding screen. Once opened, it feels like carrying a mini tablet in your pocket. Watching shows and movies on this device is amazing. The larger display makes streaming much more immersive, and the screen quality is outstanding. Colors are vibrant, details are sharp, and everything looks crisp and beautiful.
I also love the multitasking capabilities. The larger screen makes it easy to use multiple apps at once, browse the internet while watching videos, or answer messages without constantly switching between apps.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is an excellent phone that combines innovation with everyday practicality. It's easy to set up, simple to use, highly customizable, and offers one of the best displays I've ever seen on a smartphone.

Sleek design, pristine display, accessible interfa

Keyboard is, by far, a much better design, allowing for a cleaner texting/typing experience as numbers and letters are larger, taking away the aggravation of endlessly hitting there wrong button!
Bixby, hey Google, AI, voice commands and hand gestures allow for a seamless form of communication and hands free access to all aspects of phone use.
When switching from Apple Iphone 15 plus pro max, I found its interface to be pleasingly simple to switch to. Clearly clean descriptions of all phones features make it desirable to understand and navigate while still maintaining is "Ooooo and Wow" effects when being surprised by yet another fabulous feature!
Many new notification and ringtone sounds provide multiple options for all users, from original sounds to fun sounds, simple to cute, sophisticated to techno. Something for everyone!
The Z fold 7, when in open mode, displays a gorgeous and crisp screen. Perfect for viewing movies and photos, searching the internet, creating and editing files, and so on.
I was concerned about no longer having the ability to connect via face time with family members, however, it's as simple as using Google meet to continue Video chatting with others.
As a 10+ year Iphone user, I'm finding the Samsung experience to be far superior to Apple in many facets, applications and phone designs.

New Samsung User!!!

I have always been a long time apple user until today, the zfold series just looked so interesting and unique, so the look it has is a definite 10/10. The phone runs nicely and setting everything up was quick and easy. I didn't have to worry about losing my old photos, videos, and contacts which is great. It was one of my bigger fears towards my switch from apple nut since there's a cloud transfer I'm totally happy and pleased. 100% looking forward to my stay with this phone and the future ones to come.
