[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an iPhone and Apple Watch for over 10 years and never really thought I’d switch. But after seeing the Flip 7 in-store and messing with it a bit, I couldn’t stop thinking about it — so I finally made the jump.
Even though everything’s so different from Apple, it was still super user-friendly right away. The customization is on another level, everything runs smooth, and now I’m just obsessed with my phone.
This is what phones need to be with actual upgrades, not the same thing in a new color. Samsung really breaks the norm and makes the phone feel personal and new.
The flip design is honestly one of my favorite parts (obviously). The front screen helps me stay less distracted at work while still being able to check messages, with still having full phone capabilities. And the crease is hardly noticeable.
Also, I use ChatGPT constantly, so having Galaxy AI / Gemini built in is a huge plus. It’s super convenient to have AI baked into the phone without needing to open another app every time.
No regrets. It’s the first time in a long time I’ve been excited about a phone again.

Flipping over the Z Flip 7

It's fun to use and it keeps me focused by allowing me to browse through notifications and alerts without having to open my phone and fall into a doom scroll session. I love using Galaxy AI to schedule appointments, ask random questions, fix photos, summarize articles in Samsung internet, and create images to share with friends. Starting my day with a summary from the Now bar is one of my new favorite features and taking selfies with this phone is an awesome experience.

It slips into the side pocket of my diaper bag, the tiny front pouch of my stroller, or even my jeans—yes, my pre-baby skinny jeans! I don’t have space for bulky gadgets, and this sleek phone respects that. The hands-free Flex Mode is a game-changer. I can prop it up while bottle-feeding and still video chat with grandma. Taking adorable pics of baby’s giggles? All done without fumbling or asking someone to hold the phone. I love that I don’t need to flip open the whole phone to check notifications. That little outer screen gives me the time, texts, and reminders at a glance—perfect when I’m covered in baby puree.

First time with a Samsung, and I love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive recently become a Z Flip user and now that Samsung has come far enough for it to be the 7th generationi finallydecidedto break free from the chains of apple. Even when I was a kid I always wanted a samsung, I was into tech and they technology and uniqueness of every device and creature feature was mesmerizing to me. Also in my youth my dream phone was a modernized flip phone, and when the manufacturingof the Flip series started I was so excited. But I was also worried about how something like this would hold up for me as I tend to accidentally be destructive with devices I get. But I just finally decided to jump on it. I am a mechanic by trade and a lot of the features this phone boasts are a half of the reason I switched finally. This phone helps cut down on my screen time usage which is so amazin, but this Z Flip 7 also seems to be very durable which is super amazing to me. The Galaxy Ai features are super amazing too. I personally uesd to not like Ai and its features, but the Day Briefings done by the Galaxy AI are amazing and well put together. It is all the juicey information I use in a day and its just conveniently told to me. The folding mechanism is super amazing, super cool, and very fun to watch and play with. I love this phone and hope its my last. I 1000% recommend to people who like a flip form factor, and if people are making a switch to samsung do it. Its fast simple and easy. 100/10 for the Galaxy Z Flip 7
