Was it gonna be too much phone for practicality? Not enough tabletness to browse web pages, see videos we'll enough.., wherever that magic mark lay?
Nailed it. Plus big D battery stamina. Big hand text friendly. Processor doesn't flinch, RAM for days and HiFi Usb-c pipped out audio.
Had an S21 before this and didn't really want to upgrade. I'm firmly in the "don't need a new phone every 2yrs" camp. But fate forced my hand.
I hate to admit it, but getting the major Android updates makes a difference. Glad to know I will get them for the foreseeable future.

It's a very nice phone overall. The volume and power buttons need to stick out more because they're very hard to feel being so recessed, especially when using a case. I also have trouble holding it when it's fully opened without touching the screen because its too wide for my hands, which I understand is not a fault with the phone.

The build quality of the phone is good, but it came pre-equipped wirh a significant amount of third-party software to uninstall. Several unwanted Samsung apps cannot be uninstalled by conventional means. Unwanted AI assistance features (most priminently Writing Assist) frequently present themselves even when disabled. I'm ultimately left wishing I had instead purchased an older model that predates these issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your comments about app management and feature presentation highlight the importance of customization and user control in modern smartphones. If you prefer not to use Writing assist or Chat assist, you can disable each feature or hide its icon from the keyboard. To do this, go to Settings, tap Galaxy AI, then select Writing assist or Chat assist. Select the feature to disable, such as Chat translation, and toggle the switch at the top of the screen. Repeat these steps for any other features you want to disable. Even after disabling them, the icons remain on the keyboard. To remove them, open an app with Samsung Keyboard, such as Samsung Messages, tap More options, then Add (plus icon), and Remove (minus icon) next to the feature icon. Tap Done. this phone is amazing. i love flipping out the screen. i use both screens. the abaliity to use it like a tablet has been life changing. 10/10 i cannot be more happy with it. it is so thin too. the only thing i can say bad about it is discontinuing support for the S-pen. but overall great i am very happy with this phone.
