My Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7… I used to love it. Now, I’m not so sure. My routine felt normal until "it" started.
It began subtly. I was using it for work, unfolded, reviewing old blueprints. My screen flickered. A ghost of a face, gone as fast as it appeared. I blamed the Wi-Fi.
Then, during a late-night streaming session, deep into a horror movie, my Fold's Galaxy AI suddenly activated. Not for a summary, not for a translation. A text appeared, from "Unknown," saying only: "You're not alone." My heart pounded. The movie paused itself. The display, usually vibrant, seemed to dim, casting eerie shadows in the room.
The next day, trying to shake it off, I decided to play a distracting game. My character, a lone explorer, suddenly froze. On the Z Fold 7's expansive screen, the Galaxy AI Circle to Search feature spontaneously highlighted an obscure symbol in the game's background – a symbol I’d only ever seen in my great-aunt’s forbidden grimoire. It was like the phone was showing me something, guiding me to a hidden, unsettling truth.
That night, I tried to record a video of the strange occurrences. As I filmed my darkened living room with the Z Fold 7, the Generative Edit tool within Galaxy AI seemed to act on its own. It didn’t remove anything. It added. A faint, translucent figure appeared in the background, staring directly at the lens. It looked… like the face from the blueprints.

The most amazing device of the year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the Galaxy S25 Ultra but I've always wanted to have the fold. I was able to go ahead and purchase the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and it has blown me away. The device is so thin and feels lightweight compared to many other devices out there. It's super fast and it does everything I need in a jiffy. With Galaxy AI I have been able to make my photos so much better and also it has helped me on many of my daily tasks such as reminders, emails, etc.. Everytime I pull out my device, everyone stops and asks me to see it so I go ahead and show them how special it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z Fold7 is Samsung’s most refined foldable to date. It pushes the foldable design forward in meaningful ways: thinner, lighter, more usable when folded, excellent displays, strong performance, and long support. But it still isn’t perfect, especially if you expect all the flagship features (stylus support, very fast charging, top-tier camera smoothness) to come without compromise.
If you’re excited by foldables, want productivity and flexibility, and can afford it, Fold7 is one of the best choices out there right now. If you’re more price-sensitive, care deeply about stylus work, or want insane charging speed, there are trade-offs to weigh.

When waiting at the airport sometimes I like tonwatch media or emulate games, the size of the screen makes it an eye candy, it's like butter for my eyes.

When taking photos and videos, the Galaxy AI makes it so easy and convinient, the regenerative scene edition helps me to get rid of unwanted people or objects un the frame.
The size of the screens and weight of the phone makes it a very well rounded device, I went from a S24 Ultra to the Z Fold 7 and I don't see myself going back.

I've ran into several people with the device and we all agree...it's the best thing we've ever owned
