It feels sleek and premium, and the ability to fold it makes it both compact and practical when I’m on the go. When opened, the large screen is a game changer. It makes streaming, browsing, and multitasking much more enjoyable compared to a standard phone.
I often use multiple apps at once, and the bigger display makes everything easier to manage without feeling cramped. Watching videos and reading on the large screen is very comfortable, and the overall performance keeps everything running smoothly.
It fits perfectly into my daily routine, whether I’m working, staying connected, or just relaxing with content. The combination of portability and a big immersive screen makes this device stand out.

You may not use the folding much but its great when you need it. I use AI a lot with my job and its great for fixing errors with my pictures or using a translator right on hand.

After spending some time with it, it's clear that Samsung didn't just iterate; they refined this device into a "no-compromise" powerhouse.
The first thing you notice is the silhouette. At just 8.9mm thin when folded, it actually feels like a standard smartphone in your pocket. The move to Advanced Armor Aluminum and a Titanium plate under the display makes it feel incredibly rigid despite its weight loss. The hinge is smoother than ever, and the crease on that massive 8-inch inner display has been minimized to the point of being nearly invisible during daily use.
The real star of the show is how Galaxy AI has been woven into the fabric of the software. It’s no longer just a collection of cool tricks; it’s a productivity engine optimized for the Fold’s unique form factor.
Creative Studio & Photo Assist: With the new 200MP main sensor (borrowed from the Ultra line), your raw data is incredible, but Galaxy AI takes it further. Using Photo Assist on the large inner screen to move or erase objects feels magical.

The best phone I ever had z fold is absolute 💯 👑

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The z fold 7 is a beast of a cellular device, with the galaxy AI you can do anything you want with the swipe of a finger, and I dont even use other AI thanks to it. I enjoy the size of my screen for driving doing 2 separate things on it (one for music and the other for direction) I got so much more from it thanks to the double screen action I've been with Samsung devices for about 15 years (since the galaxy 6 to the A71 though the galaxy 25) the z fold is beyond any phone i ever had

Best in class multitasking capabilities

Being able to pull my outlook, power bi and reference data with an excel sheet is very useful. When assisting clients I will use my galaxy Ai to translate conversations that I otherwise couldn't have!

Creaks squeaks and overall bleak!

Opening it is accompanied by creaks and crinkles that make the screen feel far too delicate for a flagship device. Performance is glitchy, and the phone often runs hot during simple use. The camera is unimpressive and doesn’t meet expectations for this tier. Handling is another issue: it’s so slippery, using it feels like holding a lubed-up slug on a hot summer day. Case options don’t help. In short, the concept is ambitious, but the execution is far from refined. PS, the all metal, robust, thick z fold 5 flagship device, is far superior. The fold 6 and 7 are like little thin plastic kids toys designed to break, and they reflect this in every aspect of the device.
