[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first thought when I picked up the new Galaxy Fold 7 was "whoa." Not because it's massive, but because it’s surprisingly… not. Samsung finally nailed the form factor. It’s slimmer, lighter, and the cover screen is finally the right width, making it feel like a real phone when folded. This is the first device to ever make me seriously consider jumping ship from my iPhone, and honestly, it’s done it. The inner display is still a stunner, and the new Armor FlexHinge feels solid—I'm not worried about the 500,000 fold rating, but it’s good to know. The camera is a huge leap, with the 200MP main sensor taking shots that rival any flagship out there, and the low-light performance is seriously impressive. The Snapdragon 8 Elite is a powerhouse, and multitasking with multiple windows and apps is unbelievably fluid. And of course, there's Galaxy AI. It’s more than just a gimmick; the AI-powered editing features are slick, and things like live translation during a call feel like genuine, futuristic magic. It's not a cheap phone, but the Fold 7 feels like the first one without compromise. It’s the device I’ve always wanted the Fold to be.

The Z Fold 7 is a very good phone but it should've been thicker with a larger battery and a s pen inside like in a S25 Ultra. Then it would be more enjoyable and attractive to even those who weren't thinking about buying 1.

This device is amazing. The build quality and size is second to none. Only a few changes I would make which is the battery size and match the entire camera lineup on the ultra phones. At this price compared to its Chinese competition the entire camera system should match its ultra phones and battery capacity should be larger. With that said, android 16 combined with one UI is also unmatched by any other OEM. Anyone getting this device will not be disappointed.
