[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a.little disappointed, I replaced an older 5000 BTU with this 6000BTU unit. It dies not cool as well as the old one. It is noisy when going on and off in auto mode. I can not get the filter light to go off after cleaning the filter.
Also, the price dropped $70 one month after I bought it I'm hoping to recoup the difference. I will contact CS.
It was super easy to set up though. And does have a remote, I don't use it but some people may like that.

Cool as a Cucumber!

I just moved into a new apartment for my junior year in college and found that there’s no central AC… and the temps go up to 98 degrees here sometimes. I knew I needed to get this specific unit after I read all the reviews raving about it. They were right to do so, because this little guy works so well and cools down our apartment quickly and quietly. I can’t believe I paid as little as I did for this amazing thing.

Decent for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems pretty effective but louder than expected. It sounds like something is loose but I can't find anything amiss. The remote is kind of clunky compared to my older model Frigidaire, I assume they had complaints about the thin ones getting lost.
