[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great so far. We just received it 2 weeks ago and it worked great during the 90 degree high humidity weather. Ran it for 48 hours during the heat wave, but then the weather got cooler again so we opened the windows again. The remote is handy and works great. Used the eco feature and that worked well. I liked that it doesn't have smart features because I didn't have to pay extra for something I did not want. The price was right for (2) basic small window units which I purchased in my order.

Not bad for the price ....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live near the ocean, so the salt air destroys our window units before they wear out. We always buy cheap ones, as the more expensive ones we have tried don't last any longer. This unit seems fine and works as it should, has a reasonable noise level, and the controls seem to work fine.

Perfect but noisy

Gave me my bedroom back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first night we used it in the bedroom, it sounded like we were inside an airplane engine. Very loud! Then I read the manual. Apparently, you can manually turn the fan down, but if you don't, it will automatically be on the highest/loudest speed (until desired temperature is reached). I'm not sure if it's just this 6,000 BTU model that's so loud, or if all new Frigidaires are louder. I have a couple older models that are as quiet as you're going to find these days. It hasn't gotten really hot yet, so I can't yet comment on how well it cools during a heat wave.
