[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only have had a few nites of use. But have to say so far I’m pleased . Fairly quiet , which was important for a bdrm. I have used the fan only on low and it’s plenty powerful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first night we used it in the bedroom, it sounded like we were inside an airplane engine. Very loud! Then I read the manual. Apparently, you can manually turn the fan down, but if you don't, it will automatically be on the highest/loudest speed (until desired temperature is reached). I'm not sure if it's just this 6,000 BTU model that's so loud, or if all new Frigidaires are louder. I have a couple older models that are as quiet as you're going to find these days. It hasn't gotten really hot yet, so I can't yet comment on how well it cools during a heat wave.

Gave me my bedroom back
