Excellent air conditioner.

My first inverter AC purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This inverter unit was purchased to replace a 19 year old Kenmore 8000 Btu AC that had finally gotten too noisy to allow me to sleep. So far no problems. When I want to have a steady fan sound when sleeping i set the fan to a fixed speed (low). Otherwise i have been letting the AC do its thing on the auto setting during the day. Since the compressor ramps slowly it is pretty quiet. I have not heard any case or window rattles so far. To be on the safe side because of the Inverter i chose to get the 3 year warranty. I also chose to use the optional pleated filter right from the start. Every Ac I have ever owned has needed vigorous evaporator cleaning every several years, hoping this filter helps with that.

Quiet and efficient

Fidgeaire window ac 10,000BTU

We use it for the main bedroom as we like it cold when sleep rather than cooling the whole house. I especially like the app that allows me to turn on a control the AC from my cell phone. I can have the room cooler off and ready before I even head toward that portion of the house.
