Works fast, looks good, puts out a lot of heat, needs better app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a dehumidifying beast, but because of that it puts out a massive amount of heat. I hope to one day see a inverter dehumidifier where it can ramp down as it approaches target humidity to reduce the heat.
The app is honestly pretty crappy. It often de-syncs and is slow to use.

Works great, but.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit functions very well and I have no issues with it removing moisture etc. The app is convenient, although I wish it was able to set the dehumidifier to automatically turn on and off at certain times rather than having to use the timer feature in the app each time I want to turn it on and off. Finally, it is is loud. In my opinion you really can't have it on and watch TV at the same time unless you really put the volume on the TV super loud.

Functions well / could have more options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From a functional perspective it works great. Dropped my basement from +80% humidity to 40% in about a day.
I'm not a huge fan of the Frigidaire app as I use it for this device and 2 A/C window units. It takes too long to load and occasionally drops the connection to the devices where I have to delete then re-add the device to the app. It would be very helpful to have a programable high/low humidity alert option.

If your appliances are dropping off the app, they may be in an area with a poor Wi-Fi signal. A factory reset may also help clear out any memory issues! To do so, hold down on the Wi-Fi button for 10 seconds until the appliance shuts off. Then unplug it for 30 seconds, plug it back in, and wait at least one minute before reconnecting it on the app. If you have any further questions or concerns about the Frigidaire app, you can contact our App Support team at 1-800-311-4667 Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm EST.

Working Great So Far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 months in, and the dehumidifier has been working great so far. The only negative is that the app/wifi monitoring isn't great. The dehumidifier was manually turned off and the app still showed the timer counting down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should have upgraded dehumidifiers years ago! Much quieter, very easy hose hookup (highly recommend getting the hose for auto drainage). Keep my cellar dry consistently between 30-40% humidity.
