Great product, works as described

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier is a great product. I have two of these and use them to manage dampness on the ground floor of my home. They are really effective at pulling moisture out of the air and the flexibility of going with a hose or bucket is fantastic.

Works, but heats.

SO far working well as far as humidity removal goes, but the unit generates WAY too much heat, I need to replace this in a basement with a free-standing AC unit, this has moved the basement from the low 60's to 75 at times.

Hi, there! Thanks for reaching out. It is normal for the unit to produce heat. As humidity is passing through a dehumidifier, it is designed to remove the moisture from the air. After this process is complete, the air free of moisture is reheated and released as dry air. The rise in temperature is also due to the compressor running. If you feel that something more is wrong, I can advise that the air filter in your dehumidifier may need to be cleaned and that will cause it to blow out hot air. It's due to the reduction in airflow through your dehumidifier. Basically, the dust and dirt on a dirty air filter will make it harder for your dehumidifier to blow air. Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previous dehumidifier was a Frigidaire and I liked it so after reading reviews of this new model, I figured I could not go wrong. I like the Wi-Fi connection even though my internet has a weak signal.. I would have given it a 5 star but Frigidaire will not sell me an extended warranty. My old one came with a 5 year warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It sits by itself in the basement. It seems content. It subsists on the moisture it draws from the air, most of which it expels into the sump pump. Which brings me to a question: Why — even though I attached a hose to it, does the tank eventually fill up? That is not a complaint. Merely an observation. We did have water in the basement at one time. It is now dry. And that’s what it is all about. The wifi option is terrific. I’ll check that tank right after I send this. And I bet it won’t need to be emptied quite yet. Really, isn’t not having to think about it all you really want in a dehumidifier? That, and for it to suck. Water out of the air, I mean. Silently. Seemingly without effort. Uncomplaining.

Easy to operate, efficient

Good dehumidifier, but controls are lacking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dehumidifier does what it's supposed to. Easy to setup. I have it draining directly to a sump pump and I don't have to think much about it.
The controls are very barebones, and the app is just ok.
