This laptop offers a lot of customization for performance including app specific settings. Apart from a few unexpected programs closing (adobe premier, lightroom) its performance is very good. I like the 3 standard USB connections.
I would recommend this to a friend!

From ROG to Alienware and Back to ROG

I started with ROG back in the early 2000's then went to Alienware in the 2010's and now back to ROG. Dell did nothing but with Alienware and in fact degraded it with shoddy workmanship and support and even though the hardware proved worth the investment ROG brought me back home with reliable performance at a very reasonable price compared to Alienware.
It is early days but I am very happy so far both with technical prowess and ease of use. While not the latest and greatest {2025} edition the high end proc, gpu, 32G RAM and 2TB SSD coming in at 3K including taxes and fees is a sweet point. The 2026 editions will be about 2% better but will run about 4K+ for a similar configuration. I use this rig to run 6 VM's and will need to bite the bullet to replace the RAM to 64G but that is going to add another 1K or even less if I can find someone that need a 32G memory kit at a discount lol.

Great service and assistance

I came in to purchase a new laptop. The agent Asefeh was great, she provided assistance and even let me know that a laptop i previously came in to purchase was now available. I also was able to get the setup done same day which was amazing because it allowed me to use my laptop immediately.
