Gets cold!

Ice cold air!

So easy to install, only took a matter of minutes. Everything is included in the box that you will need for the install as well. This produces a very quiet “white noise”, just enough to help you sleep. Energy efficient, yes, although I haven’t received my electric bill since using it. I’m just going off what the box says (see photo). Very happy with this product. I may have to make additional purchases in the future.

Great compact unit for a bedroom or small living s

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is compact, but powerful. It has wheels, which made it easy to move on the hardwood floors and handles which made picking it up when I got to the carpet easy. It blows nice cold air in AC mode and ran efficiently until I got to the set temperature. Fan mode gives you 2 speed options. Dry mode gives you cold AC and a dehumidifier, a valuable advantage in the swampy area I live in. A timer allows you to “set it and forget it” if you don’t want it running when no one is home. The handy remote means you can tuck the small unit in the corner and adjust the settings from the couch or bed. The instructions for installation were very easy, the filter is washable and easy to get to and the drain plug is also easily accessible.
My windows are only 30 inches wide and the window installation kit was slightly wider than that at its smallest, so we had to adjust a little, so take that into account. I would also suggest that raising the AC off the ground a little bit— we used 2 pieces of plywood- will make it easier to drain the water from the dehumidifier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was super easy to set up. It works with both a horizontal opening window and vertical opening window.
It comes with the screws to set up the cover over the window opening and the batteries for the remote. It doesn’t come with any screwdriver though so you need to acquire that on your own if you don’t have one handy.
It cools as expected, but a nice touch is that it also has a dehumidifier. I keep it in my bedroom and turn it on when I’m in the shower to keep everything from getting moist.
The unit itself looks nice and is smaller than the one my dad has but has the same cooling capacity (10000 btu).

Cools immediately, easy setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was extremely quick and easy. You have to attach the exhaust tubes and then insert the window part to complete the exhaust venting outside. Then plug in and it is ready to go! The remote is very handy, or you can connect it to their app. The noise is subtle and kind of relaxing. You can cool, heat, use it as a fan or dehumidify. The unit is about knee high and the biggest space issue is the exhaust vents, otherwise I have no complaints. The air is cool immediately and the flaps automatically open and close. It has wheels so if you move it from room to room, it’s not so heavy. Very sturdy, very cool. Highly recommend.

Perfect for LA apartment living.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TCL 5000 BTC Smart AC has been a lifesaver in my K-Town apartment. It cools my space fast, even with the LA sun blasting through my windows. The smart features are super convenient and I can turn it on from my phone before I even get home.
It’s energy-efficient and easy to use, Only downside is it’s not super quiet, but the steady hum is manageable. For the price and performance, it’s one of the best ACs you can get for small LA spaces.

Great for summer
