Small and mighty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely a small hint designed for a small room! And I mean SMALL. but it does a good job cooling off a room and is fairly quiet. I didn’t love the “panels” that fill the rest of the window…. They have space that allows outside air/ BUGS to get in…. So make sure you have some insulation and tape! Overall it helps cool the room which is exactly what we need in this summer heat!

Not the quality I’m used to from LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had really high hopes for this LG air conditioner after living in South Korea years ago and having wonderful appliances from them while there. This was not one of those appliances. The screw holes are not straight for the guard on top, which makes it impossible to install and seal it correctly. The diverter on the front was installed incorrectly and rendered unusable. This unit also requires you to screw into your windowsill and window frame to be installed “correctly.” If you have a windowsill made of a material that cannot be screwed into, I guess you’re out of luck as alternative installation options are not provided. It does cool the air very well for how small it is, and if your window is the perfect size/material/shape for the unit you’ll probably love it (as long as yours is constructed correctly). If this product hasn’t been gratis, it would be going back, but as such, it will work as an emergency option for hurricane season.

FREEZES ME OUT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is quiet and will freeze you out . I had a bit of trouble installing it and would recommend a second person to help. It seems to cool the room in a pretty good amount of time so that's probably good for my power bill . Overall for the value I think it's an effective bedroom unit for the price.
