Garmin Sleep Monitor a nice monitoring tool, but I had to un-pair and pair it again for the 4 the time !!! As your updates always break it up. Watch is stable, so why not the monitor ? ! ? IT HAS HORRIBLE STABILITY OF CONNECTION, I suppose that your horrible low quality of software code is caused by AI coding.
It is a niceity to have. However, I have had several times where the device shows on my body battery stress levels but fails to give a sleep score in the morning which is somewhat important.
I’ve been in the Garmin echo system for a long time and I have been wanting them to make this for a while. To say I’m disappointed in this product would be an understatement. I’ve had it sense it was released and had nothing but issues with it. Where can I start. First of all about once every couple weeks it will not read anything. It takes forever to sync. And about once a month it looses connection completely and will not reconnect so bad in fact that I have to delete it out of my system and re-add it back in witch is how I got to do this review after having it so long. I don’t know if there’s an update or something I’m missing but I’m really unsatisfied with it. I’m really hoping there’s an update or something. I really love all my other Garmin products!
This is the third time I have had to 'forget' my device to try to get it to sync. When it works, it's great. When it doesn't it is super frustrating. Won't sync or gives me crazy off data... that doesn't make sense. I can understand if it is loose on my arm and the numbers get off numbers - but that's not the case. Ultimately, if you don't mind being frustrated once a week b/c it suddenly won't sync then it will work for you. I really really want it to work - it's comfortable and I'm "all in" on other garmin products. Maybe I have a bum device - I've had issues multiple times and only started using 4 months ago.
I bought this because I dont like the. feeling of sleeping with a watch. also do not want a rash on my wrist and so far just getting used to the comfort of it. I like it, metrics are great, not sure how accurate they are compared to a watch
Very comfortable, way more comfortable than wearing my Tactix for sleep data(which I've done for 2.5 years now). It seems more accurate/reliable so far and battery life has been great I charge it maybe once a week and could probably get 10 days out of it.
Would have been 5 stars but I can't figure out how to get it to track using the sleep index and not have the watch override the data without placing the watch in battery saver mode every night. I should be able to take my watch off, put sleep index on and it realize there's no data coming from my watch but if I don't put my watch in battery saver mode when I wake up it will say no sleep data even if I wore the sleep index. Not a big issue just a slight inconvenience and annoyance.
I can't get this to work at all. When i wear it at night it does not capture any sleep data and alarms I set do not go off. I have it properly linked to my Garmin Connect account and i've turned off my watch eliminate any "confusion". Nothing has worked. It's like it has no idea i'm sleeping when i am wearing it at night. At night I am wearing the device correctly, I tap the sensor to make sure it is awake, and as noted above i set an alarm on the device through Connect, and it still fails to capture any sleep data when i sync in the morning.
