Not as good as I expected

The monitor does a decent job of tracking my sleep but far from perfect. It doesn't do a good job of realizing when I am awake. The graph will often show REM sleep when in fact I am awake and maybe even out of bed moving around. Even though Body Battery is a stat, it never shows the change overnight then after putting on my watch, my BB starts at 90-100 which it rarely did just using the watch when I slept. I expect it to improve overtime and as Garmin makes updates but it's not great at the moment

Dreadfully inaccurate

This is a great product idea. It's comfortable and allows sleep recording without wearing your watch. The benefits are that it is way more comfortable and allows night time charging of my watch. This means I no longer need to choose a 51mm watch to get the best battery life when I could chose a 47mm or smaller and charge it nightly while still getting sleep data. Unfornately, the accuracy of the sleep monitor is so bad that I cannot use it. In over 2 weeks of use, it has not once recorded more than 4 hours of sleep despite me regularly getting 6 or more. I can't figure out why. It is syncing with the Connect software but it is just plain wrong. I switch back to my Epix Pro and everything is back to being accurate.

Not ready...

Fit and comfort are good.
Battery life is not all that good. maybe five days.
Data points conflict with years of sleep data from a Forerunner 955.
The "good news" is that I now have 99% less sleep stress with the Index Sleep monitor.
There is no way to snooze or shut off the alarm while wearing short of getting into GC.
My HRV dropped to the red. I do not ever recall that with the Forerunner. As soon as I went back to the Forerunner I went into the green. Coincidence?

Unnecessary gadget

Redundant and Regretful
I own the Garmin Epix Gen 2, which already tracks sleep with precision. The Index Sleep Monitor? Completely unnecessary. It’s a single-purpose wearable that duplicates what my watch already does, sleep stages, recovery metrics, smart alarm, all of it. I kept hoping there’d be some added value, but nope. It’s just another device to charge, sync, and wear.
The band is comfortable, sure, but that doesn’t justify the price tag. If you’re already in the Garmin ecosystem and have a capable watch, this feels like a solution in search of a problem. I wish I hadn’t bought it. Save your money and let your watch do its job.

Difficult to understand what it reports

I have long been a fan of Garmin products, and when this device became available I even went as far as pre-ordering it.
What a disappointment. The information it reports is what I call "gobbly gook." It uses phrases like "here is your battery charge." Am I a device? No, I am a highly literate 21st-century user who previously enjoyed the simplicity of what other companies offer.
I am returning this product.
In addition to my disappointment, I found this product difficult to turn on and off.

Tengo 3 semanas con él y las lecturas que me da me arroja me agrada; me gustaría también verlas en un tipo una tabla; anteriormente usaba un anillo, pero como no estoy acostumbrado a el prefiero mejor la banda que ni la sientes

I bought this last month because I love my sleep monitor function, but my garmin watch was not comfortable to wear to bed. Sometimes my arm swelled and sometime the bright green light from the back was annoying. I tried the sleep monitor and it is great. Much more comfortable, I barely know that I am wearing it. My new training plan emphasizes rest and recovery, this sensor provides the data I need. Seems a bit pricey!!!
