It appears to be collecting data but I have no idea what to do with the data it has collected.

Almost perfect

Band is not wide enough for my arm and ends up pinching off circulation if I tighten it up to prevent it from slipping off during activity and sleep as well.

I bought this because I’m not always comfortable sleeping in a watch. It’s comfortable to wear and seems to function much like the watch. I wish it connected and updated the app more automatically. I have to go sync it and then sync my watch to get the data and the morning report.

I have been using this sleep index monitor for about a month and it’s been great. I was looking for a solution to track sleep that did not require me to wear a watch and this fits the bill perfectly. It’s comfortable to sleep in and holds a charge for several days. I am happy with this monitor.

Not worth the expense

I have a Fenix 6 and the only thing the sleep monitor does that the Fenix does not is the body temp measurement and breath variations.
The monitor really is only “needed” if you don’t wear your watch to bed. Becasuse most Garmin watches already do all the functions of the monitor.
In addition to it not really do anything more than a Garmin watch already, you are not supposed to sleep on the arm that it’s on.
Kind of hard if you happen to sleep on both of your sides throughout the night.
Overall, not worth it if you already have a Garmin watch. Pretty lackluster product that doesn’t offer anything special.

I recently purchased the Index Sleep Monitor and have been using it consistently for about a month. The battery lasts quite some time. It only needs charging after a few days. After 7 days of use, the Index provides additional data such as skin temperature changes and HRV, which I don't know how to interpret just yet. However, it is fairly comfortable to wear and much more comfortable than my Garmin watch and the alarm function is good. I am still evaluating if this device will be useful for the data it provides. For the mean time, I think it is just ok. Not revolutionary, but if it wasn't for the FSA funds I used to purchase it with, I don't think I would've spent the money on it.

So far so good with the sleep index. Comfortable to wear and provides accurate sleep data.
