Sleep Monitor Arm Band

I have been wearing my Instinct 2 watch to bed for close to a year and I got tired of wearing it 24 hours so I bought the Sleep Monitor arm. I have been wearing it for about a month now and I noticed that I am getting better sleep scores with the arm band. I had trouble stopping the vibrating alarm (tap 4 times). Other than that the arm band takes about 3 syncs before the sleep date appear. Overall it is much more comfortable to wear to bed than a wTch

Does not work

I bought this item 2 weeks ago. I’ve used it everyday and out of two weeks it only recorded two nights and only half of the night. I’ve tried everything from re-installing it to wearing it at different parts of my arm and still gives me no results.

Garmin Sleep monitor

Although it was tricky adding the device through the Connect app, it’s been very easy and comfortable to use. I am not used to wearing a watch, but I do like watching my sleep score and activity goals reached. The kick sets in the pool are not tracked, and I am not sure if the leg movements in my pool kick says are tracked in my steps total. Anyone know?

Best Alarm

I have to wake up much earlier than my wife. With that being said it typically has taken concert level alarms to get me up and moving waking both of us. The sleep monitor gently vibrates my arm when im outside of rem and I wake up not groggy or sluggish. This item has changed my morning in the best way.

Inconsistent data provides no useful information

I have started using this and the data captures is spotty. HR data is captured a couple time during an hour and not for the entire night. No usable information has been produced. I have changed arms, location and made sure it is not to tight but the results are the same.

There may be some other reasons for the heart rate not capturing consistently. Here is a support article for inaccurate HR readings. http://ms.spr.ly/6426trEhQ

Great idea and really like not wearing the watch at night but product needs significant improvement. HRV and HR are + or - 10 vs watch. All data doesn’t sync. My sleep score, body battery, HRV, RHR are all better wearing the watch which impacts my Garmin Coach workouts.

had to reset then full factory reset out of box -

did not work out of box. directions to use/turn on are poor. Spent an hour late at night on AI figuring out it needed not only a reset, but a complete factory reset. Once I got it working, when you turn it on, it does not confirm so - so you cannot tell if it is ready or not. Super-frustrating!

Sleek Design

Been using this for almost a month now. I had one night that didn't record data or at least it never transferred it if it did. Now I have to check the bluetooth connection to verify its on before going to sleep (a little annoying).
Other than that I'm liking how I barely notice its on my arm and with this I dont have to wear my Fenix to sleep anymore, great idea.
