Nice watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was excited to get the watch 8 but was surprised that I no longer could power share like the older models. You have to plug in the puck, to the phone to charge. Just something else to keep up with. Also Noticed that this watch is more susceptible to magnetic interactions nearby that I never had with the older one. I'll get used to it. So far I do enjoy the watch.

The GW8C is Totally Worth It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from the GW7 to this one after previously having a GW4. This is my first time having the rotating bezel and it is awesome! So glad Samsung brought this feature back and I decided to get it! I also love having Gemini and the Galaxy AI features on it! The battery life has been great and lasts way longer than my other watches. It also has been charging faster than a % per minute! The new 1UI8 faces are also really cool and you can see the one I'm using in the picture! No regrets in upgrading to this watch!

Fantastic upgrade to a great watch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Classic is a perfect name for this watch! Faster and more features than the watch 7, but it actually looks like a dive watch that Bond would wear. Good size and weight on the wrist and the bezel is very useful. Thank you Samsung, for making the smart watch feel like something you actually want to wear every day!

Looks good and works good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the rotating bezel, it makes navigation smooth and intuitive. The vivid screen is an improvement from watch 7. However, best thing about this watch are the health features, like ECG, HR and sleep monitoring. Con: Needs a bigger battery. They should have put the ultra's battery in the classic.
Definitely recommend.

I've had samsung watches for about 6 years now. Very satisfied till now. This galaxy classic 8 feels cheap compared with my old classic still with rotating vasel. Not sure I'll keep it the "black" looks more like a cheap metal and rotating vasel loos out of f place.

The screen size is way smaller than the galaxy 6 classic. I was not happy with that. I almost returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good day Ramdovester, Thank you for finding the free time to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic. Great upgrade from 6 Classic
on August 23, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, I was hesitant to upgrade from my beloved Galaxy Watch 6 Classic because of the redesigned "squircle" body. I will agree with others that, for some reason, the pictures on the website make the square much more pronounced and gaudy; in person, it is actually very elegant, and when worn, it looks great in my opinion. What pushed me to upgrade was the fact that the height of the watch is so much smaller (body is thinner), even though Samsung was able to pack in more advanced sensors in it! I primarily use my smartwatch for health tracking, like sleep tracking, steps, and while working out. For these, it has been great, especially with the extra information provided by Galaxy AI. Sensors seem much more accurate, and the details page with suggestions from the AI is more focused on things you can change, which is great! The bezel has also been upgraded with a more solid mechanism that seems intentional when you scroll compared to the previous watch.
