Poor sound

Watch works ok but even at max volume notification and calls cannot be heard. Has a serious sound problem. This problem is also persistent with galaxy 7. The designers and engineers should review and test the product for all functions before putting out for sale. I returned 2 galaxy 8 classics.

To resolve low speaker volume on your Galaxy Watch8 Classic, please go to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Volume on your watch and increase the relevant slider (Ringtone, Media, Notifications, etc.). You can also check the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone and adjust the same volume settings. If the volume is still low, ensure there's no physical blockage by wiping the speaker. Love the bigger face

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from the galaxy 7. I like the bigger face and the bezel. It is bit heavier but you will get used to it. The AI features are cool and connects with my earbud pros. Highly recommend

Tracking is wrong

Samsung junkie for 20 years. Love Samsung products and only buy Samsung for technology. That may change now. Recently upgraded phone, head phones, and watch. 2 out of 3 are disappointing enough that I would return them if I could. So the watch, looks awesome and thats where the complicates end. I was so excited to get the extra tracking things that the Watch 4 couldn't do but they don't matter because the tracking is way off. It has me sleeping for 4 hours and snoring for 5. This sucks because I've come depend on the tracking from my watch to adjust my life accordingly for health. The other issue is notifications. I won't get text notifications on my watch or phone sometimes. This happens only when I have the watch on. Love the look and idea behind the watch if it only worked. Samsung please don't reply with a user guide clip, this is my 5th Samsung watch over 16 years, it just doesn't work like its supposed to. Samsung quality is going down unfortunately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With the Samsung Health app and Sleep tile on your Galaxy watch, you'll be able to view your sleeping time, record your snoring, and use sleep coaching options. You can even control your smart devices, such as your TV, to make sure you don’t stay up too late watching movies. The Samsung Health app on your Wear OS Galaxy watch can track your sleep. If it's displaying an error or not accurately portraying the details, you may be able to fix it by enabling and disabling power saving mode. The Galaxy Watch8 Classic was a solid upgrade from my Watch5 Classic, and the trade-in made it worthwhile. Battery life isn’t as strong as the Watch5 but lasts a full day. My only gripe is Samsung removing the smart auto-switch between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth—it now runs both at once or just one, instead of switching as needed. Overall, very happy with the watch.
