Great vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum can clean. Really, really well. I have used some higher end ones and when I first cleaned with this vacuum, I was grossed out by how much it picked up from my carpets that’s I thought were clean. It definitely picks up more than its counterparts. It seamlessly changes from low carpet to high carpet and cleans both exceptionally well. The attachments are great as well. My only two minor issues with it are the cord and the hose. The cord is in not the best place as it gets caught in the wheels a lot of you don’t hold it up. And it could be longer. The hose is not long enough either. Every time I try to reach it a foot or two the vacuum comes crashing into it. These two minor mishaps are just a small price to pay considering how well this thing can clean. Highly recommend this vacuum. Especially at this price point.

This vacuum sucks in a great way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved Bissell products, and this vacuum stands true to the brand. It’s easy to put together and easy to use. It has a bit of a narrower base which is nice for getting in harder-to-reach places. Love that the on/off switch is straight forward (off, no beater bar, or beater bar). It’s got strong suction and easily vacuums up the daily messes that happen in my house with two toddlers. The cord is long enough to clean the whole living room without moving plugs, tank is easy to empty, and the liftoff feature is super helpful for cleaning the stairs. I love the look of the vacuum and my toddler is especially fond of the blue (his favorite color). We also have some remodeling going on right now, and are pretty much using the vacuum daily to help keep the dust and dirt to a minimum, and it performs great every time. Love this product and the Bissell brand and definitely would recommend!

Great Pet Hair Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Design: The vacuum is about the size I expected. I liked having the option to change carpet or hardwood as well as turning on and off the roller part. All of attachments seem secure and are out of the way. Both the wand and collection bin are easy to remove and reattach. The brush attachment is wonderful for upholstery. I thought the power cord seemed long enough for me to be able to vacuum an entire room while not taking up a lot of space when wrapped on the vacuum itself.
Use: The vacuum glides easily over carpet and hardwood. Despite having vacuumed recently, this vacuum pulled up a good amount of dog hair. It worked pretty well on tile and hardwood but I especially like it for carpet. The wand had a good amount of suction as well - much better than other vacuums I have used.
Overall I found this to be a very effective vacuum for removing dog hair. It will end up replacing the pet vacuum I currently have. Highly recommend!

Terrific light corded hardwood and carpet vac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical at first because the CleanView Max Lift-Off is so much lighter than my previous corded vacuum … so I wondered if it would be as powerful, have equivalent suction capacity, clean my house as well as my old one did, etc. I shouldn’t have worried! It’s lighter but so much smoother (SO MUCH SMOOTHER), easier to maneuver, the profile is smaller and the wheeled vacuum can fit in smaller spaces, and the wand detaches easily and seamlessly. My one complaint is that I wish the cord was a little longer (I’d previously figured out exactly how many times I’d have to unplug and replug my old vacuum and where and now am trying to determine that new routine – but know that I have to do so more than I used to in order to hit all of the areas of my house.
The first time I used it, I was astonished at how much it picked up. Yes, it’s dusty right now and cottonwood is falling from the trees, which made me think that it might be picking up more than normal. But I think it’s that the CleanView Max Lift-Off actually picks up more than my old vacuum did. I mean, look at the picture! That was from it’s inaugural spin through our downstairs, which is a mix of hardwood, tile, and carpet (and most of that is insane dust, etc. from the carpet). I was delighted but also a little grossed out.
Overall, I like the look and feel and maneuverability of this vacuum. I like that it’s mostly black and don’t mind the blue accents (it’s much better than my previous purple one!). The lighter weight and less heavy duty plastic made me think it might be insubstantial or cheap but I haven’t found that at all. Thus far it has helped tackle messes made by three young kids and two adults and it’s so satisfying to hear it suck up mess from under the dinner table!
I’d definitely recommend this vacuum and really my rating is 4.5 stars – 5 stars if there was a longer cord! I’m so glad to have it help me clean the house!

Easy to ease and solid vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I appreciated was how easy this was to assemble - and the attachments are self-explanatory. We have cleaners come pretty frequently, but we also have kids that are very messy. This picked up lots more than obvious to the naked eye (mostly crumbs - everywhere)! We tried the vacuum on hard wood floors as well as kid mats and different types of rugs - solid performance throughout. I can't be sure how it will hold up over time, but the first several uses were good. I'd love it to be more compact, but that would likely come with a cordless which isn't as powerful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Extremely Effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with this vacuum. The amount of dust and particles it collects is astonishing, and the suction feels solid. My carpet even looked a slightly different color after running this vacuum over it.
At first I thought the vacuum was a bit heavy to push, but I realized that I just had it on the wrong setting for carpet height, and as soon as I got that right, it actually moves really well!
Its satisfying to see it collect so much dust, and I really appreciate that the chamber can be emptied without having to touch any of the contents.
I really like the turbo brush accessory, it helps me get the harder to reach spaces, and seems to work a ton better than just a typical wide mouth attachment.
It was not my experience that the floor roller is completely tangle free, it still caught a lot of hair that rolled around it, but it wasn't a crazy amount that it became unusable. And there was a lot more hair inside of the vacuum chamber than on the roller, so it still works pretty well.
I used this on a lot of carpet, hardwood and bathroom floors, and I don't necessarily felt like it favored one. It removed stuff from all surfaces extremely well.
The lift off feature is cool, though I didn't find much opportunity to use it yet, I think I like keeping the vacuum propped on the floor.
For cord management, if I remember to keep the power cord hooked at the top of the hook for the vacuum cleaner, I have a much smoother experience and the cord stays out of the way without me having to use it.
So overall, yes I am extremely impressed and pleased with the vacuum, it helps me keep things satisfyingly clean. Nothing about my experience using it is frustrating, it does what I want it to.

OK but not great

I was excited to try this vacuum out because I currently have a vacuum that’s nearly 20 years old. There are some really great features in this vacuum but it overall it comes up short.
Pros:
1. The vacuum base pivots really well, rather than just folding up and down, which makes it easier to maneuver.
2. The tank is set a little higher, so the vacuum head can slide under small spaces, like chairs and low shelves.
3. Overall decent suction and cleaning power.
4. Lots of settings, including type of carpet/floor and brush movement, and many add-ons like small brushes.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All you need in 1 vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Bissell Cleanview Max Lift-Off Vacuum! It’s incredibly versatile and works effortlessly across every area of my home. One of my favorite features is how user-friendly it is as I can easily swap between floor types with just the push of a button. For a full-sized vacuum, it’s surprisingly lightweight and easy to maneuver. It glides smoothly over hardwoods and has a great pivot for tight spaces. I especially appreciate how simple it is to grab the wand for those hard-to-reach areas.
The suction power is outstanding—so much so that it doesn’t turn quite as easily on carpets as I’d like, but the deep-cleaning results are worth it. I also love the adjustable suction feature for different carpet thicknesses. With both thin rugs and thick carpets in my home, having one vacuum that handles it all is a huge plus.
Emptying the debris bin is quick and clean, and the large capacity means I don’t have to stop and empty it often. The pet/stair tool attachment has made vacuuming furniture so much easier—now it’s just part of my routine instead of a dreaded chore. I also appreciate how easy it is to wipe down the vacuum and keep odors away.
