Incredible Suction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this vacuum I thought it looked really similar to another higher end product I've tried. It looks really nice. I immediately wanted to tackle my bedroom carpet and was thoroughly disgusted with myself when I saw what this vacuum sucked up within 5 minutes! I have been using a cordless vac for a while now and it's never even gotten close to the amount of dirt and cat hair that the CleanView Max Lift-Off got out of my carpet.
I then decided to try it on my “washable” area rug in my living room. I am very pleased as I cannot use any other vacuum on that rug. Usually any other vacuum will stall out because it sucks the rug right up into the vacuum. Not this one! On the plush carpet setting with the roller turned on it perfectly vacuums my thin rug with no issues and pulls out a crazy amount of dirt.
One thing that would improve this vacuum is that I would like there to be headlights.
I will also add that this is supposed to be a tangle free brush roll. Hair did wrap around the brush roll but it was very easy to pull off. I have to take scissors to my other vacuum.

On my way to cleaner days

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The number one thing I need in a vacuum is good suction. This CleanView Max Lift-Off had great suction! My house has a variety of floor types — hardwood, carpet, and area rugs. The suction on every surface was great and it didn't take more than one or two passes to pickup all the debris. When used on the carpet I could tell it was getting dirt from all the nooks and crannies. This is definitely a vacuum you can trust to tackle all your messes, no matter the type.
My favorite feature is the canister. It's bagless. It's easy to remove the dirt and easy to put back. It's big enough that I don't have to empty after each room I clean, but not too big and bulky that it gets in the way. I also like that you can lift the canister off of the base and continue to clean wherever you need. It makes this vacuum very versatile.
Overall, this vacuum is a win! It looks and feels high quality. The functionality is top notch. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum.

Nice compact vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the Cleanview Max Lift-Off vacuum to test as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Overall, I was pleased with this vacuum. It is sleek and compact, which is great for homes with less storage space. I have two cats, a dog, and two kids under the age of seven, so there are always messes in our house! I feel like this vacuum did a nice job of collecting the fur that is always in our carpet and the scraps of paper from various art projects. I really liked how easy the canister was to remove and empty, and how I could easily see when it was starting to get full.
I am still working with the settings to determine the best one for our carpet, because sometimes it did feel a bit hard to push. The vacuum was also used on our kitchen tile when I dropped a glass container and it shattered everywhere. It did a nice job of sucking up the glass pieces I had missed with the broom, and it did not seem to just push them around the floor.
My chief complaint would be the cord, both length and positioning. We have a fairly large living room, and I did have to unplug and move to a different plug with this vacuum because the cord was not long enough to reach the whole room. In addition, the cord sits very low on the vacuum (see photo), so any back-and-forth movement with the vacuum would result in the cord being caught up under the vacuum. This was solved by holding the cord closer to the handle, but just something to be aware of. I would recommend this vacuum for someone looking for a compact vacuum that still does the job!

Great vacuum, but could use a couple features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum is a great vacuum. The suction is really good; half the dust bin was full when I was done! I liked the way the tools were secured on board, they didn't get in the way or fall off as I moved around. It was pretty quiet, which is nice if you have kids and you try and clean when they nap. A few things that would have made it a 5-star review would be to have a light on the front. It helps in dark areas, especially on wood floors because it lights up the dirt. It worked great on my area rugs, wood floors and regular plush carpets but I had a really hard time with my shag-like carpeting. It was almost impossible to move the vacuum back and forth, even on the high pile carpet setting. The hand tools were good, except I found the attachment with the brush roll didn't really work; it didn't move at all when trying to vacuum my couches.

A great vacuum cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off that I received as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, is a great vacuum! The first thing I used it on was my stairs using the Turbo Brush Tool. Its great for stairs as you can remove the base to make the vacuum lighter to carry up and down the stairs while vacuuming. The turbo brush tool made my carpet feel super clean. The suction on the vacuum is great and powerful but not too powerful that it makes it hard to push. I used the whole vacuum to clean the carpet in my upstairs rooms. I noticed a huge difference in the tangle free roller compared to other vacuums that I have had. The tangle free roller really helped get up hair and thread from my sewing room without it getting stuck in the roller. I really enjoy that the dust catcher is clear so I can see when it is full and how much dust and debris the vacuum picked up.
I love the handle on the vacuum as well. It felt great in my hand and my hand didn't get fatigued while cleaning.
I used it on both carpet, hard vinyl flooring and my area rug and it worked great on all 3 surfaces!
The only issue I had was with the cord moving around while vacuuming. it has a slot for it to rest in near the handle but I could not get it to stay there. Definitely not a deal breaker on this vacuum though!
This is a great vacuum cleaner for anyone looking to keep their house clean!

Say “Goodbye” to Pet Hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to use the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off* Vacuum I received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have to preface by saying that we have a cat as well as a fully grown Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix. I vacuum every single day to keep up with all the pet hair.
Our home is mostly tile floors, with throw rugs in large spaces and then each bedroom is carpeted. I appreciate that I switch from carpet to tile cleaning, as well as the lift height for lower to higher pile carpeting. The furniture tool to clean the fur from the couch is also very helpful.
In just the short time I've used the vacuum, I've rubbed the print of the writing off on the handle, which indicates the lift position. It would be a bit convenient to have the switch for carpet to tile located in the same general areal and not further down (closer to the middle) of the vacuum, just so that it could be done with the same hand holding the vacuum.
I was blown away by just how much hair was collected the first time I vacuumed with this new machine! As stated before, I vacuum every day, so to see that much in the chamber was quite surprising. It was pretty informative as to how well my previous machine was working. I have attached a picture of what the chamber held after that first initial use.
Along with our two hairy pets, I also have a five year old son. Somehow he manages to get crumbs, dirt, wood chips and craft scraps everywhere. Not a single bit of his mess gets left behind, the durability of the machine and suction of the vacuum sucks it all up. It works so well I've even sucked up a few hidden Legos here and there, but the CleanView chamber allowed me to find them and fish them out immediately.
Overall, I'm very happy with my new vacuum, clean floors and pet hair-free couches.

CleanView Max Lift-Off-high quality vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try the CleanView Max Life-Off vacuum! I have two cats and a dog, so a high quality vacuum is a must! We use a cordless handheld vacuum daily for quick clean up, but I like run a more powerful vacuum at least twice a week! We have a combination of carpet, hard surfaces, and area rugs including thin to shag. Overall, I think this was a great vacuum for us!
Pros: 1) The suction power on this vacuum was exactly what we needed for our household! I could tell a noticeable different from how much was sucked up from the first time to the second two days later! It is able to pick up small clumps of cat hair on the first try where my handheld one usually takes 2-3 passes. 2) A small but amazing design feature is a space to store attachments on the vacuum-this makes using them so much easier and convenient! 3) I found it to be a relatively quiet vacuum! My four year old daughter is very sensitive to sound, and she even commented on it! 4) this works well on all surfaces, making clean up in a home with a bit of each easier! 5) it's very easy to assemble, and to remove/re-attach
The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars include: 1) an unexpected inconvenience is that the plug is loose in some of my outlets and will fall out mid vacuum, even when there is plenty of slack in the cord. I found this odd- it wasn't every plug in, but I have not noticed that with other things I've plugged into them before! 2) the vacuum is heavier than I'm used to 3) the upholstery attachment worked well when on a hard surface, but was inconsistent on a softer surface like a couch.

Powerful and versatile

I have a large family and a large dog, so cleaning floors is something I do almost everyday. This CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum cleaner gets the job done and checks every box when it comes to what I look for in a vacuum. First, it's super powerful. I was amazed at just how much dirt came out of my carpets after using it for the first time. My steps never looked so clean! Speaking of steps, the attachments come in very handy for this. They are easy to put on and take off and they store right on the unit, so they won't get lost. I like to use the smaller brush attachment to clean baseboards, corners, and other hard to reach places around the house. I also love that I can go from carpets to bare floors with the click of a button. I have multiple flooring surfaces and this vacuum is great at tackling them all. I even began to use it to vacuum the kitchen floor rather than sweeping it with a broom like I used to. It sucks up dirt and traps it better than any dustpan could ever do. The see through canister makes it easy to see how much dirt was collected and it's quick and easy to empty it and snap back in place. I am very impressed with this product and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great, easy-to-use, versatile vacuum.
