Easy to maneuver; powerful hose attachment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With 3 school aged children, a dog, 2 cats, and a couple of guinnea pigs, my mostly hardwood 19th century house is always dirty with kid messes and animal hair. As my current vacuum is not effective in removing these messes, I was very happy to receive this vacuum from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. First impressions are it's very comfortable to use and push around on carpet, large area rugs, and hard floor surfaces. I have wide gaps in between my old wood floors and I was ecstatic the hose attachment with crevice tool sucked up most of what has settled in there with one pass. The comfortable grip handle, quite motor, and swivel base are also appreciated and the hose attachment being connected to the handle for more ergonomic and precise vacuuming, like under furniture and along baseboards, is really helpful. The HEPA filter and dirt canister are each easy to remove as well. Just a small thing, but a nice touch, is the writing on the handle oriented toward the user when vacuuming to choose bare floor or carpeting. A few drawbacks are vacuum foot with the beater needed many passes over hard floors that had debris like dried leaves and grass (brought in by pets and kids) so I would only use the hose attachment for those types of messes. Speaking of kids, my 9 and 11 year olds assembled the vacuum out of the box in about 5 minutes! All in all, a great easy to use vacuum that I'm looking forward to using regularly.

Great quality vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised with this vacuum from the first use. I've had several vacuums which claim to be high suction but nome have topped this vacuum. I am embarrassed that I thought my rugs were clean prior to using this product. The first use picked up more dirt, dander and dog fur than I thought was even possible. It's design is a bit cumbersome and takes up some space but overall this vacuum is worth finding the storage space. It's powerful, swivels with ease, goes from hardwood to tile to area rugs without hesitation. With a flip of the switch you can turn on the roller and turn it off. My favorite part is the powerful hose attachment. It cleans couches, chairs, stairs, etc with incredible suction. This piece is unique as it doesn't have any electrical aspect and solely functions with the suction of the vacuum itself. I was provided this product by the Stellar Product Panel in return for an honest review.

Powerful Vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this vacuum to test as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This vacuum is extremely powerful, and works fast. Such an upgrade from my old Shark! It works on my hardwood and rugs equally well. I also like all of the accessories, especially for cleaning my couch. If I have one complaint, it's that the vacuum is a little heavy. But otherwise, it's fantastic!

Will get the job done, but not the best choice.

I was super excited to give this vacuum a try on both my carpet and hard surfaces. It's a solid vacuum that seems to be made of quality parts. But overall I was sadly disappointed. The biggest drawback and really a dealbreaker for me is the length of the cord. Compared to my normal vacuum I estimate the cord is a least 3 feet shorter which I noticed immediately when I couldn't vacuum as many rooms. Having to change plugs more often is really inconvenient, especially when I have a vacuum that will allow me to reach more rooms. The suction is not the strongest, especially when used on hard surfaces. I had to go over a piece of debris numerous times before it picked it up. If I compare how much it picks up (based on the canister) vs my current vacuum it's picking up far less. I have dogs and children and want to be sure my time vacuuming is well spent and actually picking up all of their dirt and fur! Unfortunately this vacuum underperformed. One benefit is that it came with a soft brush attachment which I found to be helpful cleaning vents and the wood trim on my staircase. But beyond that it did not prove to be a superior vacuum or one I could highly recommend.

Good suction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell Cleanview Max Liftoff vacuum as part of the Stellar Testing Panel.
I had a mostly positive experience with this vacuum and would definitely recommend it.
The only cons are that it's a bit bulky and it's not as good at sucking up bigger things if there are a lot of them. My kids play with dried beans in a sensory bin and when vacuuming up the beans it took a few pass-throughs to get all of the beans.
I haven't had to clean the hair off of the roller yet but the roller cover is screwed in with normal screws, meaning when the roller needs to be cleaned it isn't a super easy process, I'd consider that a con as well.
Otherwise I thought it was a great vacuum. Great suction, easy to empty the canister, easy to remove and use the wand, easy to clean the different filters, clean and modern design. I used it on fairly thick carpet as well as vinyl floors and it worked well on both surfaces. It has a convenient suction modifier, allowing for different levels of suction on different surfaces. We have three girls in our house with long hair and it did a good job of sucking that up with minimal amount of hair on the roller. Definitely a plus.

Great vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed using this vacuum more than my previous vacuum. It has a slim design and fits in easier in my closet and under the couch edge. The wand release is very convenient and easy to use, nothing inhibits it's use. It has strong suction and gets all my dog's hair up easily on all surfaces. The buttons for changing how high the carpet or floor is is also conveniently place, making vacuuming a rug in a tile floor a breeze. The lift off is great for the steps and getting dust in high places.
One thing I would change is a longer cord. The power cord is not short, but my house is large and I could quite reach the end of the room without moving to a different plug. My previous vacuum had a longer cord and I was able to go farther.
Overall, I really have enjoyed using this vacuum. It has made cleaning easier for me as well as more space in my closet!
I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Powerful and Lightweight! Love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
This vacuum was easy to assemble out of the box and operating it was fully intuitive. I really enjoyed that it was one click to get the wand off and you could take the base with or without the wheels with you on your spot cleaning adventures. The vacuum was lighter than I expected, which made it a breeze as I moved from room to room and job to job. It tackled high like carpet and tile all the same.
I truly was impressed with its pickup on the tiled kitchen floor. You know how when you use the hard floor option with the brush head vacuums almost always leave some crumbs and bits that you have to get with the wand? With the exception of right by the baseboard, this vacuum left the floor so clean and debris free. I was happy to walk barefoot behind it!
I'm not aware that it had a strong self-propelled feature, so it didn't have that drag that you can get when deep in a vacuuming binge - that one that makes you question whether you need to lift more weights. I was able to vacuum my entire house - carpet, tile, hardwood, stairs, couches, fans, etc. and have little arm fatigue. Highly recommend this one specifically if you're worried about weight!
I also was extremely impressed with how you could fully clean the canister and filters. The canister comes off to empty, but you can also remove the filters to fully rinse (they took maybe an hour to dry). The canister was also able to be fully rinsed out. There was a little bit I was worried about with the water reaching it because it seemed untouchable, but once I was actually rinsing it - it came right out! Left it all on my drying rack for a bit and reassembled once fully dried. There was no warp or shrinkage with the filter, either.
Overall, I highly recommend this vacuum. Great suction, light weight, intuitive, ability to clean the canister - all of it positive!

Perfect solution to keeping a home spotless (and hair-less!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I got the chance to try out the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off, and I've gotta say—I'm seriously impressed. First off, it looks great and feels super sturdy. The design is clean and modern, and I really liked how easy it was to figure everything out right away. The detachable lift-off pod is a cool feature that makes it really convenient for quick cleanups or getting into harder-to-reach spots.
As far as performance goes, this vacuum is a beast—in the best way. I've got two dogs who shed a lot, and it picked up all the pet hair without needing to go over the same spot a bunch of times. I used it on hardwood, linoleum, and a few area rugs, and it crushed it on every surface. There are a bunch of suction settings too, which is awesome for switching between floor types or mess levels. One of my favorite features has to be the extended-reach handle. Being able to use it to get into corners, under furniture, or up high without needing extra attachments made cleaning so much easier.
I also love that it's bagless—the canister is super easy to empty with one hand, which is always a plus. It's a little on the heavier side, so it might not be ideal for someone who needs something super lightweight. And while some folks prefer cordless, I actually like that it's corded because the power is just way better and I don't have to worry about charging it. All in all, this vacuum has definitely earned a spot in my cleaning routine!
