Versatile and effective HEPA vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum. Overall, this is a great vacuum for its all-in-one versatility and its cleaning power which includes a HEPA sealed system. My family suffers from allergies, especially this time a year, so a HEPA filter vacuum is essential. We vacuum more than once a week to try to stay on top of clearing dust and allergens from our home and minimize our symptoms. This vacuum has been great in eliminating dust on our hardwood floors, as well as our rugs and upholstery. I like that it has a sealed HEPA system, but is also bagless so I don't need to mess with purchasing and changing out bags.
My favorite feature though is the lift-off capability. Our previous vacuum didn't have this feature and I could see an immediate difference in how much easier it makes cleaning. I was able to use it along with the extension wand to clean our curtains, shades/blinds, ceiling fans, and high shelves. It not only makes cleaning these typically more difficult areas pretty effortless, but is also more thorough and doesn't spread around the dust in the air like when I dusted. The canister is fairly lightweight too so even my older kiddo was able to carry it around and use it. It's helpful that in the case of mealtime messes, which happen frequently in our house, I don't have to pull out the entire vacuum but can use the lift-off feature as well.
I also appreciate its cleaning power and that it doesn't scatter messes. My toddler dropped a glass blender jar which went all over our kitchen floor. I have had issues with previous vacuums not being able to pick up this type of mess thoroughly or just moving it around the room, and did not experience these issues with this vacuum. It was efficient in picking up all the glass quickly and I was able to confirm this by checking the clear dirt cup inside the vacuum. My husband was surprised because usually we have to vacuum the area a few times when this type of mess happens, but this vacuum was able to pick it up efficiently and effectively.
I would recommend this vacuum to those looking for a product that is good for allergies and many different types of flooring and messes. We're looking forward to getting many years of use out of our new Bissell.

Amazing workhorse vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this Bissell vacuum from the Stellar product testing panel. We recently moved, and with having to clean up the old house AND clean up after renovations at the new house, my 13 year old vacuum finally died. The timing of receiving this new vacuum was perfect, as I was researching and planning to purchase a new vacuum within the next month.
I've been using it for about two weeks now and love it! The all black design with touches of bright blue is sleek and clean looking. Suction is great, and it's so easy to use that my 6 year old has been vacuuming the living room carpet and using the wand to clean up crumbs all by himself.
We have two long haired dogs, three kids 6 and younger, and my husband is a farmer- so lots of dirt tracked in, crumby messes galore, and dog hair everywhere. This vacuum gets it all up on our laminate floor and our carpeted areas.
The wand is probably my favorite feature with the large angled handle making it easy to hold for long periods. I do wish the hose was a bit longer, but as the bottom beater section comes off and I can drag the canister around to gain that extra reach, it's not a deal breaker for me.
I've not used it for the car yet, but being able to take that bottom off is going to be amazing for vacuuming out all the nooks and crannies in the suburban and the kids car seats!

The cannister is easy to dump out after use, and the filters easy access to replace. No need to even glace through the manual- everything is simple to use.
Overall this is a great workhorse vacuum for an active (messy) family!

Average, Loved power , disliked versatility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression is that this vacuum is average and not over all better than a cordless stick vacuum for my specific house. First off the things I loved were the suction power on low pile carpets, the attachment storage, the way it seemed to get deeper dust and an good amount of hair, and that it is comparatively lightweight for its size. But the things I disliked don't make those things worth it for a corded vacuum in my opinion. Things I disliked were that it continually thought it was clogged and would auto shut off when trying to do my higher pile carpet which my smaller stick vacuum is able to handle with ease. It is loose weave and not so tall that this larger vacuum should have been stopping like that, so that was my first frustration. Second dislike was that on my vinyl flooring it was occasionally skipping over food or flinging it backwards with and without the roller function on. And third thing I disliked would be that for a corded vacuum I don't think it did anything much better than a similarly priced cordless stick vacuum could do because I still had to pass over some messes multiple times like bigger crumbs and just stuff my kids dropped on the floor throughout the day. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and tested it on multiple surfaces multiple times. Overall I would recommend for someone who is used to a corded vacuum, who has only low pile thick carpet. But otherwise I am not sure I would recommend this specific vacuum over others similarly priced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum, which I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, is easy to assemble, and easy to use - I love the swivel feature for navigating around corners and into tight spaces, and the wand feature is excellent. Previous upright vacuums that I have used have had just a hose attachment, and the vacuum tended to tip over when I was trying to reach farther with the hose. But with the wand, which pulls out super easily, I can navigate around rooms easily and get into all the nooks and crannies without the base tipping over (also really easy to pick up the base with my other hand and move it along with me when needed). Overall, for how lightweight the whole thing is in comparison to my previous vacuum, I feel like it powers above its weight in cleaning up crumbs around my kitchen hardwood floors (toddler life) and general mess/hairs on carpeted surfaces. My only complaint is that I really like a retractable cord feature, rather than the manual cord wrap-up when I am putting my vacuum away.

Functional, Simple, High Performing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first impression was that the vacuum was very light; I didn't know how well it would perform. The wobbly rotating took some getting used to, but I like its functionality. I cleaned leftover kinetic sand from a rug in the living room and leftover crumbs from the hardwood floor in our dining room. It worked great! I was impressed with everything it picked up. I like the low-profile head that lets you easily maneuver under tables and chairs. I like the genius lift-off tank portion that makes it even lighter for vacuuming stairs and high areas. That was probably my favorite feature; it's so versatile. Emptying the canister was pretty easy. I wish it had hands-free emptying, but it's not a deal breaker. I liked how simple this vacuum was; it had features that were easy to use, and I didn't need to read the whole owner's manual to figure it out. It was very intuitive.

Effective, lightweight vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good lightweight vacuum for quick clean up around the house. I was impressed by its ability to do both my hardwood floors as well as the area rugs and runners in my home with just the touch of a button. I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and tried it for two weeks in my home, picking up after my 3 kids and dog. It was great on dog hair, did well picking up the (seemingly endless) spilled cereal and did just fine attacking the general dirt. My one complaint is that the cord was quite short so I had to move plugs a few times to get the job done. Overall, I highly recommend this product for regular cleaning around the house.

Good Vacuum with Thoughtful Features

The Cleanview Max Lift-Off is a great overall vacuum that has some nice features to make it more versatile. I've used it to clean multiple types of surfaces and have found it handles all surfaces well. I particularly like that it doesn't scatter crumbs on my hard floors and actually picks stuff up.
I do like the lift-off feature. It doesn't remove as much weight as I would have thought, but it makes it easier to handle on the stairs. I also really like that the wand can release at the flexible hose, or to include the integrated plastic tube extension piece. I find myself using just the hose with the turbo head attachment to get the right angle on my stairs, and the extension release to get window trim or around my baseboards.
The extra attachments are well thought out. The turbo roller attachment works extremely well and is very powerful. It sucks up crumbs on my stairs that aren't even directly under the head. I also really like the slim head that has a retractable brush head. I like that it decreases the amount of attachments to store without losing functionality. Huge plus that they are all able to be stored directly on the vacuum without getting in the way.
We have people with long hair in my household, and I've found that the roller bar is not truly tangle-free. But, the clearview does let me see when it needs to be cleaned out. The biggest con to me, though, is the cord length. It's a lot shorter than I'm used to. It only means I have to unplug one or two extra times, so it's an annoyance, but not a deal breaker.
Overall, I really like this vacuum. I'm impressed with how well thought out it is, and I appreciate the extra features that I wouldn't have necessarily thought to look for in a vacuum.

Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off is a great vacuum for a family with a lot of crumbs! I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I use it daily on large area rugs, stair runners, and hard wood floors. We typically use it for kid snacks (food crumbs and dirt) and the canister is simple to dump. It picks up all the food crumbs perfectly! It has a very obvious switch to change from the different floor surfaces. It is compact and fits very nicely in a small closet. It was also very simple to put together. My favorite feature is how easy it is to detach the wand to get into tight spaces (car seats and cleaning the car). Overall, I think this is a great product for everyday use with young families!
