Great vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the Stellar Review Panel and am so excited about it. The vacuum itself is light weight and pretty slim so easy to store/move around. I like the black with a small amount of blue. I do wish there was a light so you could see the dirt better while using. The 2 accessories fit nicely on the vacuum, which is my favorite feature. So easy and now I won't lose the parts which is something I typically do. The extra parts are perfect for blinds, fans, and furniture. I wouldn't say the cleaning power is great for heavy duty messes but for everyday cleaning, I love it. We have a 2-year-old who loves making messes, a cockapoo, and a long haired cat so we vacuum a lot and this does a great job. Dirt, kinetic sand (ughhh), pet hair, kitty litter, and crumbs is the majority of what we've been cleaning on hardwood floors and area rugs.

A new addition to our busy (and messy) life as a family of 9

This new vacuum could not have come at a better time. Our old vacuum was on its last leg and I was in the market for a new one. We have 7 kids, ages 15 down to 1 so it's not uncommon for us to vacuum 2-3 times in a day. In my search for a replacement, I was excited to see that the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off checked off ALL of my boxes. Here's a few of my most loved features..
*For a full sized vacuum, this one is on the lighter side. It's sturdy and light enough my kids can use it.
*I love the HEPA filter. We try to keep the house as tidy as possible (it's definitely lived in, but clean). I feel good knowing it's filtering airborne allergens so my family can't breathe easier.
*The dirt collection canister empties easily with one hand so no extra messes to clean up.
*The cord is longer than many of our past vacuums which makes cleaning from room to room much simpler.
*With 4 girls in the house, we are always shedding our long hair. This vacuum has a no-tangle roller brush so we don't have to worry about the brush getting locked up with hair.
*The filters are washable, which makes this vacuum more cost efficient for our large family.
*We use this vacuum literally in every room in our home. Kitchen, bedrooms, dining room and even the bathroom! It works great with a toggle from carpet to hard floor! This is definitely one of the best vacuums we've owned over the years.

Wonderful upright vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this upright vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I'm so grateful. I love the power and mobility it has. I never realized how much my old vacuum wasn't picking up until I used this one for the first time. It was disturbing how much dust and junk I had on my floors. YIKES. I love that my house feels extra clean when I use this vacuum.
I love the different settings for carpet or hard floor making it convenient to clean my whole house with the one vacuum.
My favorite part of this vacuum is the fact that my 4 year old can even use it efficiently. She loves to help clean and this vacuum is light weight and doesn't lift up the front end when the handle leans far back.
The size is perfect so it's easy to store.
I would highly recommend this upright vacuum to anyone.

Simple and easy vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I thought this vacuum was simple and easy to use. It is relatively lightweight and is lighter than my other brand name vacuum that is similar. The look and design is pretty basic and is the size of a standard full size vacuum so can't hide it away. Cleaning power and suction was great. Didn't have to go over places twice and really enjoyed the clear view suction, the fact you can turn the brush on or off, and the different levels for hard vs carpeted surfaces. I did a deep clean on my living room and kitchen to pick up so much dog hair and kid crumbs. The wand and lift away made things easier to get under the couches and appliances. I love how the extra tools fit right on the vacuum sides as I always never know where to store those. Tangle free brush seemed to work well although time will tell if all the long girl hair will overtake it. I mostly used on hardwood and non plush rugs and the swivel at the bottom worked really well and better than my other vacuums. Overall pretty standard, basic vacuum and I will be reaching for this over my old vacuum for its lightweightness, easy swivel, and the fact the tools all fit on the vacuum. Oh, and I also loved the cleaning brush for the couches which had great suction that worked really well.

Too powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a mom to two messy toddler boys, I definitely value an effective and powerful vacuum. Unfortunately, this one is actually too powerful, which I discovered the first time I used it, when it nearly filled the dust bin with carpet fibers. Hoping it had been a fluke, I tried to vacuum the same area of carpet a second and third time (to make sure), and each time, the strength of the brushroll and suction took up bits and pieces of my carpet. Granted, I live in an apartment, so I'm sure the carpet is not of the highest quality. However, I cannot use a vacuum that destroys my carpet.
This vacuum has many pros:

- Long extension wand
- Easy to use
- Dust bin is intuitive and easy to empty
- Useful accessories
- Powerful suction

- Gets a little hot when used
- Has a funny smell the first time or two that it's used

I am truly impressed with the suction power of this vacuum, so much so that I may keep it so that I can use the extensions to clean things like air vents, baseboards, etc. However, I cannot recommend this vacuum because the main brushroll is so powerful that it is actually destructive.

Cleans Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum. 100% this is the one vacuum you want for pet hair. The CleanView Pet vacuum was great on both my hardwoods and my low and high pile carpet.
My daughter has Berber in her room and we have a high pile carpet in our bedroom. The clean view max is the best on all different types of flooring. It did a great job on Berber and also high pile carpet. I was even impressed with the suction and sweeping power on hardwood floors. It sucked up a ton of hair that I couldn't even see. We have a dog and a cat and was very impressed with how well the vacuum worked. The amount of hair that was in the container was insane especially since we have been using our prior vacuum at least three times weekly before using the cleanview pet max.
The vacuum was not very loud and I really liked all the attachments that come with it. The brush attachment for furniture did a great job getting pet hair out. I love the attachable hose for ceiling dirt. It was easy to clean my blinds and upholstery with the hose that detaches without stopping vacuuming. Impressive!

Love this vacuum!

I really like how compact and lightweight it is—it fits into tight spaces my other vacuums can't reach and is super easy to maneuver. The suction power is great, and it handled pet hair and dirt with no problem. I used it on hardwood, carpet, and area rugs, and it worked well on all of them. My favorite feature is how effortlessly it turns and glides around furniture.

Great everyday use vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really needed a new vacuum so I was so excited to use this one! I think it is a great everyday use vacuum. I have about 60% carpet and 40% hard floor in my house. I also have 2 dogs who shed and a two year old toddler so I needed something good! When unpacking this vacuum it was so easy to put together and has a nice design to it. It's smaller than my previous vacuum which made it a lot easier to maneuver around. I have some wrist and neck problems so lugging around a big heavy vacuum is difficult for me. This one is light weight and is so easy to control. The lift off feature was great too! Dog hair seems to collect in the cracks between our carpet and the wall so I like to use the skinny attachment and go around and vacuum the cracks. The lift off feature made it very easy to do this because I could detach it from the bottom roller part and not have to carry it all around. The suction power is really good on this too and filled up with dog hair after vacuuming just one room. Who knew there was so much dog hair my old vacuum was missing!! I also really like how you can turn off the rollers because the hard flooring we have states not to use rollers on it. This feature makes it so easy to transition from carpet to hard floors. Overall, I am very pleased with this vacuum and would recommend it!
