Power vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum does exactly what you want it to do: it sucks... up all the dirt. This thing is easy to use, easy to empty, and gets the job done! I used this vacuum on my recently cleaned carpet (done with my old 8yr old vacuum) and, as you can see from the picture, this vacuum still found plenty to get off the ground.
It's pretty maneuverable, and can swivel around edges well. It is light enough that my 4yr old was able to push it around and use it decently well. Also easy enough to empty that the 4yr old could do that himself.
I really like the wand attachment. I feel like it does a better job than others that I've had.
The vacuum claims to not wrap hair around the bottom, which so far has been true. We will see if that stands up to the test of time, as I have very long thick hair that has tangled many vacuums before.

Great suction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my cleanview max lift off and was very happy with design and look of it. It has great suction on hardwood and carpet. Typically I find vacuums that state they can be used for multiple surfaces don’t do as well on hard floors but this one truly does great. I’ve used it for all of my house and the messiest room is under the table after my kids have ate. It picks up everything with no issues, nothing is left behind. My ONLY complaint is that the suction is so strong it can be hard to maneuver on carpet that’s the reason for 4 stars. Someone elder or weaker might have difficulty but I otherwise love it and would recommend if you need a vacuum for multiple surfaces. Also, it’s very easy to empty out and clean after each use.

Bissell CleanView Max Review
on May 26, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thoroughly review all products before purchasing. I often rely heavily on online reviews, typically from those in similar life situations. Therefore, as a busy mom of two young children and two dogs, I am excited to share with you my thoughts on the Bissell CleanView Max vacuum to help future buyers when purchasing their next vacuum!
I easily assembled this vacuum and was pleased with the ease of its functions. My overall impression of this vacuum is that it is very user friendly. A few clicks with a couple of parts directly out of the box and I was ready to test the product! The overall look of the vacuum is very sleek. There are not any complicated attachments or buttons. A switch located at the top of the vacuum easily changes modes from use of roller to non roller function. A second button adjusts modes from carpet to non carpet surfaces. With one touch of a switch, the vacuum easily lifts off to tackle those hard to reach places. To my pleasant surprise, the attached hose was longer than any other vacuum I have ever utilized. That added to even greater ease of reaching places that typical vacuums can’t get to. I also love how the attachments all had a storage spot on the vacuum. They’re not going to get lost and forgotten in a cabinet as they remain attached to the vacuum when in use.
In terms of the vacuum’s cleaning power, everyday messes were easily gone. It also easily picks up pet hair. Because the vacuum has a clear canister, you can see everything that has been picked up after vacuuming. I was surprised to see how much the vacuum suctioned out of what I thought was very clean carpeting.
In our home, we have many types of flooring. I was pleased to see the vacuum easily transitions from hardwood flooring, to area rugs, to carpeting, and even tile floors! With one click of the button, the vacuum easily adjusts to all different types of flooring. That is extremely helpful for busy moms who are trying to clean up quickly in a few spare moments.
My favorite feature of this vacuum is its user friendliness. From the ease of transition to many typesof flooring, extra long hose, attachments that remain on the vacuum itself, you don’t have to be bothered by using multiple devices to clean your entire home. This vacuum doesit all! As a result, it is a time saver which anyone can appreciate. One downfall of this vacuum is that at times it can feel a bit heavy to push on carpeting that is thick. However, there is a sliding button to adjust from plush carpet to bare flooring as previously stated. I also observed it to be a bit louder than some other vacuums that I have tried. However, with all of its positive features, ease of use, and powerful suction, I would highly recommend the purchase of this vacuum!

Great vacuum for the mess of daily family life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a toddler and a dog, vacuums get A LOT of use in our home. The design of this vacuum is a typical upright vacuum style, and easy to maneuver and handle around corners, edges and back and forth. It's definitely a substantial feeling vacuum, but not too bulky or heavy that it can't be carried up and down stairs. It does a great job lifting pet hair off the carpet and grabbing everything that accumulates on our hardwood and tile floors. You can tell that it's picking up a lot because the dirt tank fills up quickly! I also appreciate that emptying the dirty tank is very simple and, while I haven't had to do it yet, the separator, motor filter, and foam filter look really easy to clean. One of my favorite features is the fact that his vacuum is so versatile - it's great for floors, but it also has the hose and extension wand with tool attachments to customize your cleaning needs (example, getting under couches or vacuuming stairs). Overall, you can tell it's a very well-built and well-designed vacuum that can handle the rigor of a messy and active home!

Bulky but powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We weren’t really needing a new vacuum, because we have a stick vacuum that works reasonably well. However, moving into a new house with two levels and three animals, carrying a vacuum up and down the stairs became cumbersome. Wanting a vacuum that could tackle lots of pet hair, we decided to go with the CleanView Max Lift-Off upright vacuum by Bissell. With only four major pieces, it was easy to assemble right out of the box. There are two supplementary attachments, a turbo brush and a crevice tool that attach right to the body. The body of the vacuum, is a little bulky. It definitely turns and pivots very easily, but the tank sticks out almost as far as the brush unit. I enjoy that the switch from high plush to low plush is in the handle and not down at the base like most vacuums and it’s great that there is a switch to turn the brush roller on and off included with the power button. The power button, however, is in a very awkward place, just above the removable tank. The vacuum itself is incredibly powerful at picking up pet hair. We have one dog and two cats, and there is always hair everywhere. I used the brush mode on the carpets and both the low plush and brushless options on the hardwood floor and rugs. No matter the surface, the vacuum power is very strong and efficient. Also, the turbo brush attachment, my favorite part, does an amazing job on the stairs which are always inconvenient to clean. The “lift off pod“ doesn’t seem to be much of a benefit. While it does separate from the brush unit and can be carried by a handle, it is not much different than just lifting up the entire vacuum. The brush base weighs maybe one extra pound. And since the vacuum body with the tank is so thick, it’s not like the brush base gets in the way. The quick release removable tank is incredibly easy to remove, empty, and reattach. The instruction manual recommends disassembling the tank and cleaning the filters after every use. I can’t see myself doing this as it takes 24 hours for the filters to dry. I could probably see myself doing this every month or two, but not on the daily. Overall, I am impressed with the quality of the Bissell ClearView Max Lift-Off. I filled the tank three times vacuuming just one room (I guess that stick vacuum wasn’t as good as I thought). It will most certainly be my primary vacuum for the upstairs, carpeted living space.

Clean View Lift Off Review
on May 26, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with the strength of this vacuum! As soon as we got it put together, I vacuumed the master bedroom, which has some older carpet in it. As we'd vacuumed earlier that week, I thought the carpet was clean and didn't expect much, but woah - this new vacuum pulled a ton of dirt and dust out of the supposedly clean carpets.
Our household has 1 mama and 3 little girls - so there's a lot of hair shedding, etc. and this vacuum has been amazing handling that and the inclusion of the silicone strip on the bottom seems to really prevent hair from getting caught up in the beater bar.
There is one thing that I wish the vacuum had and that's a telescoping or extendable arm. We have cathedral ceilings in our home and, even on a ladder, I can't get the arm to reach the tallest part of the ceilings.

Strong and handy vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleased with this vacuum from the time I opened the box! It had easy to follow assembly instructions and I had it ready to go in about 2 minutes. After talking a few minutes to check out the various options and attachments, I put it to work! My home is a pretty even mix of carpet and tile and it performed beautifully on both. I especially enjoyed the easy to detach handle for cleaning out cracks and corners. Although the suction was a little lackluster in that form, using the regular vacuum base made up for it! It had an amazingly strong suction especially on low carpet. It's a little gross (yet impressive) seeing how much dirt and trash it was able to pick up even after running my little robot vacuum a few days prior. My only dislike is that the handle doesn't seem to be completely secured in place so while pushing and pulling during vacuuming, the constant quarter inch movement of the handle/wand in and out is a little annoying. But the suction power definitely makes up for it!

Great lightweight vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a four year old and 1 year old, vacuuming is daily task in our house. This vacuum has been great at tackling crumbs, hair, and other debris on our area rugs, carpet floors, and bare floors. It’s lightweight, to the point that it almost feels cheap compared to other vacuums I’ve used, but the suction power seems to hold up so it’s been nice and easy to maneuver up and down stairs. Th tool storage is well designed, they are easy to access and store and don’t fall out of place when using the vacuum which I’ve experience with others. I love the shape of the crevice tool, it’s easy to get into tight spaces and get the edges of the baseboard and moulding. The only issue is the interior brushes fell out of the head of the tool after just a couple uses. Emptying the vacuum is easy and I appreciate the HEPA filter. Overall, this is a good vacuum for daily use!
