Bosses vac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this upright vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am impressed with the suction on this vacuum and especially its ability to trap hair without clogging the vacuum. I typically vacuum our house once a week in low traffic areas and I couldn't believe how much more this vacuum picked up then my older one. The lift off feature makes it easier to carry around when using the extension for higher to reach places or the stairs. I was also happy with the feature that allows the brush to stop spinning for when I transition to laminate floors. When the job is done emptying it out and getting it cleaned up is a breeze.
My complaint is that the extra power brush spins really fast which is great and seems powerful but if you put much pressure on it at all it stops spinning. Overall satisfied with the performance of this vacuum.

Great Vacuum That Packs a Punch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using this CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum! I received it from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. This vacuum is packed with so many features it is an all in one. The suction power is great and it has an easy to use button to adjust for the type of surface you are cleaning.
I love that all tye buttons are up high so you dohave to bend over or search for them. It even allows you to turn the roller on and off while maintaining suction. I love this! I have rugs/mats that are high pile and they would get sucked up in other vacuums. NOT with this one! Even without the roller on it got my rugs clean.
I used this on my carpets and hardwood floors. It did great on both. The detachable hose allowed me to get into corners and clean my baseboards as well.
If you are on the fence with this product I say go for it. It is just so easy to use and has a washable filter. I cannot say enough good things about this product.

Powerful lift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can understand why this vacuum is called CleanView® Max Lift-Off. It lifted off all of my surfaces however the most impressive by far was its performance on my ever shedding wool rug. I have had this rug professionally cleaned, it has been vacuumed more times that I can recall and I have not seen such a full canister after vacuuming it in over a decade. So gratifying! It maneuvered well however it is certainly heavy. I also wish it was a bit more intuitive in terms of being able to tilt off of the upright stance when vacuuming but it is also great that it stays firmly upright when standing alone. It did well with crumbs in the kitchen the hose was excellent for high chair clean up as an upright it was able to reach underneath the table. It did not manage toddler craft scraps as well off the hardwood but did off of the rug. It was above all sturdy and strong and while it was amazing on carpet I think it was also useful on hardwood/tile. Overall, I was thrilled to receive this vacuum through Stellar Product testing panel- it will be a workhorse that will hopefully be with our family for a long time.

Say “Goodbye” to Pet Hair!
on April 21, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to use the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off* Vacuum I received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have to preface by saying that we have a cat as well as a fully grown Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix. I vacuum every single day to keep up with all the pet hair. Our home is mostly tile floors, with throw rugs in large spaces and then each bedroom is carpeted. I appreciate that I switch from carpet to tile cleaning, as well as the lift height for lower to higher pile carpeting. The furniture tool to clean the fur from the couch is also very helpful. In just the short time I've used the vacuum, I've rubbed the print of the writing off on the handle, which indicates the lift position. It would be a bit convenient to have the switch for carpet to tile located in the same general areal and not further down (closer to the middle) of the vacuum, just so that it could be done with the same hand holding the vacuum. I was blown away by just how much hair was collected the first time I vacuumed with this new machine! As stated before, I vacuum every day, so to see that much in the chamber was quite surprising. It was pretty informative as to how well my previous machine was working. I have attached a picture of what the chamber held after that first initial use. Along with our two hairy pets, I also have a five year old son. Somehow he manages to get crumbs, dirt, wood chips and craft scraps everywhere. Not a single bit of his mess gets left behind, the durability of the machine and suction of the vacuum sucks it all up. It works so well I've even sucked up a few hidden Legos here and there, but the CleanView chamber allowed me to find them and fish them out immediately. Overall, I'm very happy with my new vacuum, clean floors and pet hair-free couches.

Overall Good but Could Use Some UX Improvements
on April 21, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened the box, I thought the vacuum looked nice. The design is rather simple; I wouldn't say this is the most aesthetically pleasing vacuum on the market. I used the vacuum on hardwood surfaces and a large area rug, cleaning mostly dust and crumbs. The suction power was good, and the wheels (made of rubber) rolled smoothly. I liked that they are made of rubber because it was noticeably quiet when vacuuming on hard surfaces. When looking for a vacuum, I always look for something bagless and easy to clean. This vacuum checked both boxes. The dirt cup has a large view and is easy to empty. I liked that the foam filter at the top of the dirt cup was thick but still quick-drying. I also liked having the option of using the wand and lifting the dirt cup off and being more portable.
There were a few things I didn't like about the vacuum though. First, the button for the depth (i.e. plush carpet to bare floor) is a sliding switch and left me guessing. I would have preferred a sliding button with a set notch each for plush carpet, medium carpet, and low carpet/bare floor. Second, I really, really, really didn't like the location of the power button. The depth button is on the vacuum handle, but the power button is down by the top of the dirt cup. It felt really unnatural to have the power button not built into the handle. On the far left of the power toggle button, you have the off switch and then the middle and far right dictate whether or not the roller brush spins. When transitioning between the hardwood and the area rug, I didn't like that the two buttons I needed to mess with (depth and brush) were not conveniently near each other on the handle. So it was always this awkward pause to mess with the settings when switching back and forth instead of seamlessly and quickly transitioning.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum!

Powerful, compact upright
on April 21, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid vacuum. It's pretty compact for an upright and fits into my small closet. It's powerful enough to do a good job picking up dirt and cat litter and cleaning the hair out of my rugs. I would definitely recommend for pet owners. It also cleaned the hardwoods well without blowing crumbs all over the place.
It has a tight turn radius, which I love. It's nice and swivel-y. I didn't find myself using the lift-off feature, but it's nice to have. Overall, I'm happy with the vacuum and I think it's replacing my previous vacuums as my daily user. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me review this vacuum!

Awesome Vacuum
on April 21, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I received this vacuum through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It has a nice sleek look to it. I did think the canister was a little large, but I do have a dog and carpet areas to vacuum so it would hold a lot. When using the vacuum, I was immediately impressed with the strong suction power. Having little kids and a dog, it definitely collected a lot more than my previous vacuum. I vacuumed on carpet and hardwood surfaces. The best part was how easy and smooth it was going around and under furniture. It made vacuuming effortlessly!

Great Cleaning Power, But Has Several Design Flaws
on April 21, 2025
Posted by: Jess S
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this upright vacuum as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall, it's been a solid performer as far as cleaning ability, but has several design flaws that affected the ease of use.
Assembly was quick and simple—it came in six pieces and took about three minutes to put together without the instruction book. Its sleek, slim design makes it easy to maneuver around tight spaces in the home.
The vacuum includes a wand and Turbo Brush attachment, which is great for cleaning spots like couch cushions. However, the hose on the wand is quite short, which limits its reach and convenience.
One feature is the lift-off portable option that allows you to detach the wand and dust bin from the base. It's a good idea in theory, especially for stairs, but I found it a bit heavy and awkward—especially with the short wand length. It wasn't much easier than just carrying the whole vacuum up the stairs.
Another design flaw I noticed is the electrical cord placement on the right side of the vacuum. I vacuum with my right hand and manage the cord with my left so I constantly had to step over or swing the cord around to keep it from getting in the way.
As for performance, the vacuum handles cleaning well. With a toddler and three shedding pets, it's kept up nicely across tile, rugs, and plush carpet. Overall, I was impressed with the cleaning power, but the design flaws limited the full potential of the vacuum.
