It sucks, but that's a good thing

I currently have one that is very similar of a different brand so this was a perfect opportunity to test the two side-by-side.
I like CleanView's black which is definitely better than the old school gray looking vacuums. The front of the has the clear display of the dirt you are picking up, but satisfies the wife.
One of the things I felt was really well designed was the assembly. I was able to visualize the pieces and how they fit and assembled it without tools and without directions. It was fool proof.
Switching modes is pretty easy and removing the stick to vacuum corners was good.
Okay the main event:
I tested in variety of ways. To start, I don't have pets, but we do find lots of hair lying around (Might need to look into my personal hygiene.), I have a toddler, and most of my house is tile, low carpet, and rugs.

First I vacuumed one area with just the CleanView and starting up already felt like it had better suction. Then, I vacuumed a new area with my current one and vacuumed the same area with the CleanView. I audibly heard it pick up more dirt, especially in my rugs. This made it the best part. The audible confirmation that it was working not just well, but better than the current one definitely has me choose the CleanView to pick up messes. Performance wins.

Great on carpet and hardwood!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It was a quick and easy assembly out of the box. I was pleased by how light it is and how smooth it is as it glides across my hardwood floors. It has great suction on carpet and hardwood. The vacuum is easy to empty and I was pleased with how much it picked up. I took off two stars because the turbo brush attachment doesn't work which was a bummer as I was excited to use it on my steps. When I tried to use it the roller bar would stop spinning once any pressure was used. I tried it on multiple surface types and it did the same thing every time.

Handy Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm overall pretty impressed with the CleanView® Max Lift-Off. The design is sleek, not very heavy, it's intuitive and it has the tools I need to clean my house. While initially impressed by the cleaning power over my tiled floor I wasn't impressed with how it vacuumed my carpeted floors. For reference I have a boxer dog who sheds a ton, 3 kids, a husband and I'm postpartum so I'm shedding hair more than the dog. The vacuum picked up a lot of junk off the tile floors but I just didn't feel like it worked great on my carpet and it's not even plush. I felt like I had to push it harder, it didn't really glide over my carpet like my previous vacuum did, it also didn't leave the nice vacuum lines either. I looked at it adjusting the settings on the vacuum and it didn't help. I also used it over an area rug and it did ok on that. Something that surprised me was how you can detach the vacuum body from the “head” to make it easier to do tasks like floors, couches, and for me-vacuuming my car. Overall it's a nice vacuum and unless you have wall to wall carpet, you can't go wrong with this vacuum! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum.

Great all around unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum has exceeded expectations—it works very well and stands out for being both extremely maneuverable and impressively quiet. It's a real upgrade from others I've used, especially in a busy household like ours.
The design is sleek in a practical, utilitarian way. It's not flashy, but it definitely doesn't look bad—just solid and well-built. Functionality clearly came first in the design, and I appreciate that.
When it comes to cleaning power, it performs above average. The suction and brush strength are excellent, especially on area rugs, where many vacuums tend to over-suck and become a hassle to use. This one handled them with no issue.
We've put it to the test with pet hair, food crumbs, and even construction dust from a home renovation, and it handled everything really well. The “Lift-Away” feature has been especially useful for getting dust off high-up furniture, and the wand attachment has been a game-changer for upholstery. Being able to leave the base on the floor while carrying just the canister around makes cleaning much less cumbersome.
We've used it on hardwood, wall-to-wall carpet, area rugs, and door rugs, and it transitions smoothly between them all.
My favorite feature is how quiet it is—noticeably quieter than most vacuums we've owned. That, plus the Lift-Away capability, really makes it a standout. All in all, it's a smart, powerful, and user-friendly vacuum that's made our cleaning routine much easier.

Makes Cleaning A Breeze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unboxing and setting up the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off was a breeze—everything was clearly labeled and snapped into place without any fuss. I had it up and running in just a few minutes, which I really appreciated.
One of my favorite features is how the attachments fit right onto the vacuum itself. No more running back to the closet for a tool—I always have what I need right there with me. With two big, thick-haired dogs in the house, we needed something powerful, and this vacuum absolutely delivers. It picks up pet hair like a champ, even from rugs and carpeted stairs.
We also have kids with allergies and asthma, so the built-in HEPA filter was a huge selling point. It gives me peace of mind knowing it's capturing dust and allergens instead of pushing them back into the air.
Despite its power, this vacuum is surprisingly lightweight and easy to maneuver around furniture and tight spaces. The quick-release extension wand is perfect for tackling blinds, ceiling corners, and other hard-to-reach spots without dragging out a second tool.
Overall, this vacuum has made cleaning so much easier and more effective. I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Highly recommend for pet owners and families with allergy concerns!

Cleanview Max for Max Clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this upright vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product testing panel. When I received it I was surprised at how light the box was. Compared to some of the other upright vacuum's I have used it is significantly lighter. I did not expect to have to assemble this vacuum due to the size of the box, but it needed to be assembled. The floor sweeping part and the lift off canister were separate (because it is a lift off), the hose needed to be attached to the handle which is also the cleaning wand.
A major bonus for this vacuum is the versatility. Want to clean stairs, use the lift off. The lift off is also convenient for use in cars! Want to clean carpet and hard surface, use it as a conventional vacuum. I used the vacuum to clean up a litter spill in the garage, crumb duty in my van, glitter fallout from crafting. It handled it all with ease.
Over all this is a great vacuum! I am hoping to continue to use if for a long time!

Cat Friendly Home Loves this Vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to test this new vacuum cleaner, as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Our other vacuum is 12 years old, and like other appliances in the home, has reached its limits. I appreciate the compactness of the machine, and takes us less space than I imagined. The cleaning power is great; we used it to clean up pet hair and dust bunnies on our hardwood floors; swept up messes on our kitchen linoleum; under the couch cushion; and even used it in our car, in between and under the seats. While the machine is branded for pets, I appreciate its versatility and portability in cleaning up any mess we tried. My favorite feature is the "no more hair wrap". You never realize how many longer debris items get caught in your vacuum cleaner's cylinder, and this machine rings true to the advertising. I didn't have to spend an extra 10 minutes unraveling and cutting out debris in order to continue cleaning. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with kids, pets, or for folks who have a variety of surfaces to clean.

Clean view lift off is awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the clean view lift off as part of a Stellar product testing panel and was thrilled! We have had many upright vacuums before but this one is great. It is very light weight and easy to maneuver. The lift off feature has been great for my stairs. I always struggled when I had to lug the entire vacuum up and down the stairs but the lift off solves that problem. Even though the vacuum is light it has great suction. We have a 75lb German shepherd that is actively shedding for spring and it handles her hair no problem. The brush/crevice tool has been a game changer for cleaning her crate and getting into all the small spaces. I've also used it on all my baseboards and they look great! My 14 and 12 year old boys help with the vacuuming each week and also really enjoy using it. They love the easy transition from carpet to hardwood as our flooring changes frequently. It's been really wonderful to have it and we have been nothing but impressed.
