Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this upright vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
There are numerous pieces that come in the box, but it is very straightforward to get this vacuum set up and going. It took me approximately 1 minute to unbox it, set it up, and get vacuuming! The extra heads that come with this vacuum make it more versatile, meaning I only need this one tool versus a separate vacuum for large and small spaces. I particularly like how easy it is to remove and replace the container for emptying out the dust.
I tested this vacuum on my living room carpet and my dining room hardwood floor. I also tested the transition between the two surfaces. For both rooms, I was looking to clean up small crumbs, hair, and food chunks. It took more than one pass to clean up the two rooms. I was disappointed to find that the vacuum pushed the bits backwards rather than picking them up. The vacuum did a great job of creating the pretty streaks in the carpet that just make it look extra clean!
This vacuum isn't exceptionally light or low profile, but it does pack a punch in terms of power. I especially like that it can support itself upright without needing any disassembly. I had some trouble maneuvering the vacuum with one hand in tight spaces, but did appreciate that the head tilts.
Overall, my first use of this vacuum left some things to be desired, but after some effort, it did get the job done!

Gets the job done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vacuum is larger than I'm used to (previously using a stick vacuum), but it surprisingly isn't bulky or heavy. I like that I have the choice to have the beater bar on or off while vacuuming depending on the surface. I also love that the attachments can clip directly on the vacuum when not in use — I'm less likely to lose them!
I have a small child, a large dog, and a cat who all leave various fur, crumbs, and dirt on the floor and furniture. I was impressed with how much fur this vacuum pulled off the couch using the upholstery tool. And for the hardwood, it had good suction power, got close to edges, and the hose was easy to pull off to get in those tight spots. It definitely removed the grit from my floor that I hate feeling when I'm barefoot! Overall, I'm very pleased with this product.

Great power in light, quiet package

We have children ages 2 and 4 and a golden retriever so we put a vacuum through its paces on a daily basis. The Bissell clean view max lift off lives up to its name. Setup was super easy, and my preschooler figured out how to turn it on and use the upholstery attachment by himself. Despite being lighter and quieter than our former vacuum (which I thought I loved) it gets so much more off of our floors with less time and effort. I vacuumed a rug with our old vacuum, figured it was just showing some wear in certain areas, and then vacuumed it again with the Bissell. The rug was a different shade once I finished, and the canister was 1/3 full of dirt that the old vacuum missed. It does equally well on hard floors with tiny crumbs as it does on carpet with dog fur. The upholstery cleaner is also very helpful and did great on our couch. My only slight quibble is the attachments fall off their storage pegs fairly easily when vacuuming but that's not a big deal.

Life saver for pet owners

I especially love using it for pet clean up—fur on carpets and rugs doesn't stand a chance. The detachable canister is super convenient for stairs and tight spots, and I appreciate how easy it is to empty. I've used it on hardwood, carpet, and area rugs, and it handled everything really well. The design is sleek, and it's simple to put together right out of the box thanks to being gifted by the stellar review panel. Overall, it's a solid vacuum that makes cleaning up after pets way less stressful.

Well performing vacuum for regular use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel Clean-View Lift Off vacuum has the functions needed to handle most average messes around the home. With two small kids, we have lots of messes! It was slightly heavier than I prefer, but had a nice long cord, it was easy to lift off and dump the collection canister and came with two helpful tools (brush and crevice wand). I'd like the option to attach the brush directly under the handle for a shorter reach to make hand and eye level cleaning easier, but we made it work with the detachable long arm feature.
We use our vacuum regularly on hard floors, low and medium carpets, and for our upholstered couch. Although we don't have a pet, this vacuum could certainly easily handle all the HAIR!
Overall, the feel/power of the vacuum is average, making you wonder how long it will last before losing steam. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt, however, and assume it will be around our home for quite a while. We appreciate the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving us the opportunity to try out this vacuum.

Perfect clean- great vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the Stellar Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum. I have really enjoyed this vacuum through our home. We have a mixture of laminate flooring and carpet, heavier on the laminate. With kids, the floor always seems to have crumbs. This vacuum is easy and quick to use to clean, sometimes multiple times per day. The string suction works great to get the little crumbs in hard to reach areas. I also love the detachable canister. It is very convenient to take the canister up the stairs to clear rather than hauling the entire vacuum. Overall, we love this vacuum and would highly recommend.

Clear view vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to receive this vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel! It's small enough to fit into tight spaces and is very easy to maneuver. It's a bit heavier than I would expect looking at it, but nothing that makes it too hard to use. The size makes it easy to get in and out of the closet and use it more often. Our house is a mix of tile, rugs, and carpet, and it works well on all of them. It's easy to switch the spinning brush off when on tile and on for the carpet. So far, it hasn't wrapped up all the hair like so many vacuums do! Overall, I'm very impressed with this vacuum!

Awesome Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum for review from Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was highly impressed by the features of this product, so my so, that my husband commented on the silliness of my excited over a vacuum. I countered that my 9 year old was just as excited and trying it out himself too!
First, I loved that this vacuum has many options between the lift-off canister for higher or unique surface cleaning beyond floors. I used this feature for cleaning very dusty blinds, a ceiling fan, and my cat-hair coated duvet cover. The canister is fairly lightweight, making it easy to carry. Second, I loved that the accessories for the wand tool are stored right on vacuum itself so that they do not get lost. Third, I like the surface height adjuster for hard floors versus carpeted areas and that it stops the brush roll when it's down for hard surfaces. Fourth, I like that so many parts can easily be broken down for cleaning maintenance of the vacuum itself.
Overall, the suction power was great on a variety of surfaces and this vacuum will continue getting lots of use in my household.
