I would not purchase this product

Vacuum clogged up and roller fell apart in less than 6 months of use. Older model worked better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good and effective vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great vacuum for weekly use all around the house. It was easy to set up, has a great design and color scheme. I didn't find it too heavy, and I liked the size and location of the cannister. I have used it for my hardwood floors, carpeted areas and my area rugs. I found it to be more effective on carpeted areas, but it worked fine on hardwood too. The cleaning power is about average. It sucked up quite a lot of dirt, dust and hair. My favorite two things about this vacuum are the tangle free brush roll (which is great for pets or people with long hair), and the attachments which are great for small spaces, high up places and stairwells. I would recommend this vacuum various areas of the house, especially carpeted and hardwood/tile areas.

Great vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this vacuum. It did such a good job of cleaning my carpet. The suction power is 10 out of 10. It was super easy to assemble, has a pretty long cord, comes with nifty attachments and it’s easy to empty out. I was amazed at all the “invisible” dirt and dog hair it was able to collect. This will definitely be my go to vacuum.

CleanView Max Lift Off My ONLY Vacuum Now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This vacuum definitely surprised me, it looks VERY high end with the sleek black colors & clear dust tank/brush roll. I immediately used it on my area rug that was covered in hair & seamlessly switched to hard wood, zero problems. I was shocked to see what the previous vacuum had missed including all the hair it seemed to find & didn’t get stuck around the brush roll. It even tackled cleaning my furniture upholstery with the attachment. My favorite is the suction power, it basically self propels. I can even vacuum with my kid in the room now thanks to the HEPA filter. My only complaint is there isn’t a light on the front, that would be a phenomenal addition. I was able to clean 4 rooms & a hallway all with carpet & hardwood before having to empty the XL dust tank. It’s super convenient using the lift off feature to clean ceilings, corners, light fixtures, etc. Again, I’m shocked at the extreme power this vacuum brings!

Great Suction Power and Very Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the Bissell Cleanview Max Lift-Off Vacuum. I am not a big fan of vacuuming whatsoever, so much so I make my kids do it. This vacuum has really changed my whole perception on cleaning. When it arrived, my kids were so excited, which I get it's strange but again they're the ones vacuuming. My oldest son, 15, was the one who assembled the vaccum and he did it quite quickly. There are very detailed instructions included, however, my son didn't glance at them once and he had the vacuum assembled in about 10 minutes, I was quite impressed. This Bissel2 Vacuum comes
with 2 attachments, Crevice Tool and a Multi Tool and also an Odor Neutralizier Technology Dial. This vaccum is so quite and the suction power is intense. My ferrets knocked over one of my indoor plants and got dirt everywhere and the crevice tool did an amazing job at sucking up all the dirt quickly. I really like how with this vacuum you can detachthe canister, which is very convenientwhen try to get in small places. It helps significantlybecauseit becomes even more lightweight. On the wand it self you can adjust the amount of suction power as well, which is really convenient for vacuuming rugs so they don't get sucked up into the vacuum. The first time we used this vacuum, I couldn't believe dirt and dust that was picked up still in my carpet from when it was previously vacuumed with my other vacuum, it was shocking. This vacuum is so powerful, it picks up everything from cat litter to dry macaroni noodles, even microscopic dirt I didn't even know was there and not to mention my carpet is so soft to the touch now, it's quite incredible. I really do love this vacuum and my kids are constantly fighting over who get to use it, it's so funny. The Bissell company has really changed my mind on this whole vacuuming thing, it was just my old one I hated. Overall, this is the most powerful vacuum I have come across and I would definitely recommend it, thank you so much!

Good suction but heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would say this a good vacuum, nice design, easy to figure out how to use. Decent design and look. I have two dogs and a baby, things get messy quick here. So I used the CleanView® Max Lift-Off on a few different rugs/carpet in my house for basic upkeep in the house. It did a great job on the carpet, got up all the dog fur and dirt. Fantastic suction, relatively easy to maneuver. My only complaints would be that it's just a little heavy and chunky. I used the slim nose attachment to get the corners of my carpet and wall. It did a great job. I also tried the vacuum on 2 different area rugs. I was a little less impressed on these, mostly because the suction was almost too good? It made it hard to keep the area rug down, the vacuum kept sucking up the edges. Overall I would recommend this vacuum for sure.

Did not work out of the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really was excited for this vacuum. I have a mountain of kids who bring in everything from outside. The appeal of having something that's dual use between corded standard vacuum and portable for the stairs is what was most useful. However, my unit did not work out of the box. None of the troubleshooting helped. The roller for main component wouldn't spin.
It's a pass for me.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was easy to assemble out of the box, and it has good suction. We have 3 cats, 1 dog and 1 toddler, and it picks up after them very well (hair, dirt, crumbs, etc). We have carpet and tile floors, and the suction works great on both types of flooring. It has not clogged up and is easy to empty and clean.
The “lift off” feature is my favorite part of this vacuum, allowing me to more efficiently vacuum the stairs without having to lug a heavy vacuum up each step. I hated vacuuming my stairs but this makes it so much easier.
I have only used this vacuum for a couple weeks, so I’m not sure about its overall durability and lifespan. However, based on how it is performing so far, I would definitely recommend this vacuum!
