Powerful Suction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a cordless stick vacuum girl for a long time. I hate dealing with the cord on the upright vacuums. I thought my little cordless vacuum was doing a great job until… enter the CleanView® Max Lift-Off.
The vacuum set up was super easy and intuitive. The buttons are clearly marked so it was easy to figure out without having to read the instructions. Its moderately heavy to pick up and move around which could pose a problem for some. I gave it a test run in our upstairs which is entirely carpeted. I was surprised at how powerful the suction was. It left nice clean lines in my carpet which was very satisfying. It is quieter than I expected for how big it is but a little tough to push around. I got a good workout vacuuming the whole upstairs. It was definitely harder to maneuver when the brush roll is running (which is all the time on carpet). But when you switch the brush roll off, it becomes safe for my hardwood floors. Once I finished vacuuming our upstairs areas, I took a look at the clear dirt tank and I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was completely FULL! Ya’ll, I vacuum pretty frequently so I was astounded that the Bissell was able to pull that much dirt from my carpets. I was simultaneously disgusted and delighted at the same time. I have 3 very active kids, 2 of them with long hair. There was hair wound up around the filter inside the dirt tank but surprisingly not much around the spin brush, which was good.
I wasn't sure I would find value in the Lift-Away feature. However, when I separated the body from the wand and cleaner head, I was impressed. It became much lighter and I could reach under furniture and tackle the stairs with ease. I used the attachments to clean the crevices and my stairs have never looked so clean. My only complaint was that it whistled when I used the TurboBrush attachment- likely from the amount of suction going through the small brush head. I guess there won’t be any vacuuming after the kids go to bed.
I tested it on our hardwood floors as well and appreciated that it picked up all the dirt on the first pass. It even did a great job with dirt against the wall and grabbed everything without me needing to break out the hand tools.
Emptying the dustbin was super straight forward, allowing the dirt to exit with the press of a button. I also appreciate all the filters so I wasn’t having to breathe in tiny dirt particles while I cleaned.
Overall, I am super happy with the Clearview Max. It does a fantastic job of sucking out that deep ground-in dirt from our carpets. I wish the cord was longer so I could vacuum more area without being tethered to the wall but I’ll deal with that knowing what a thorough cleaning I’ll get thanks to the fantastic suction!

Efficient and Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband instantly gave this vacuum 5 stars lol. It was simple to build out the box and figure out. We have a 3yo and a 6mo so keeping our floors clean is prevalent, the amount of crap and DUST this vacuum pulled out of our carpets in just a few passings is insane! We have another vacuum relatively the same size and functions and we really thought our floors were clean, but we were shocked to see how much more had been in our carpet (we vacuumed 80% of our carpeted areas in the home). The vacuum isn’t super quiet or extremely loud, but my infant could sleep through it. I love the Plush Carpet setting, it made our floors look as good as it did when we moved in! It’s not a super heavy vacuum either, a decent weight to it but not as light as my stick vacuum. The additional attachments that came with the vacuum are helpful for upholstery, especially getting crumbs off the couch, car seats and high chairs. I don’t have any cons so far, will update if needed.

Solid Vacuum for Families

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re a busy household with a toddler, two cats, and not a lot of time for cleaning, so we were really curious to see how the CleanView Max Lift-Off would hold up. Overall, we’ve been pleasantly surprised. The suction is quite strong, and it handled everything from crumbs in the kitchen to pet hair in the living room without a problem. We used it on tile, carpet, and some area rugs, and it adjusted well to all of them.
It’s lightweight enough that we can quickly grab it for messes without feeling like it’s a whole production. The design looks nice and modern, and while some parts feel a little plastic-y, nothing’s broken and it’s holding up fine so far. That said, we’ll be watching how it holds up over time, especially the part where the head pulls back, since that’s where we’ve had problems with other vacuums.
Our favorite part is definitely the roller attachment. Compared to our current vacuum from a different brand, it pulls up so much more, especially on rugs. Emptying the bin is quick and easy for the most part, though we did find that if something gets stuck in there, it takes a little extra effort to get it all out.
All in all, it’s a great vacuum for our stage of life. It’s powerful, versatile, and makes cleanup less of a hassle, which is exactly what we need right now.

Great for those with dust allergy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m overall very impressed with this vacuum, especially its strong sucking power. I vacuumed our area rug with our old vacuum 3 days prior. When we used this new CleanView Max Lift-Off, I was shocked to see it collected more dust/dirt than I would have anticipated-for vacuuming 3 days prior!
Our son has a dust allergy so we will definitely be using this vacuum for all future cleaning to get the dust our other vacuum couldn’t suck up!
Side note, when I opened the box, I was initially bummed to have to put the vacuum together. However, the instructions are clear and it was surprisingly super easy to build. I was able to start vacuuming in less than 10 minutes after opening the box.
Highly recommend this vacuum for its strong sucking power alone!

Great vacuum for messy families

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this vacuum for almost 2 weeks, and I’m overall very impressed. It cleans well on our hardwood floors and on carpet. The suction is really strong - I vacuumed back over our rugs after using our cordless vacuum, and I was surprised how much more dirt it pulled out. My favorite feature is the oversized canister that holds a lot more dirt than our other vacuum. Highly recommend!

Powerful and Sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off made a strong impression on our busy household. With kids and a couple of shedding pets, we put vacuums through a lot and this one delivered solid results.
The look and design are modern and practical. It’s not overly bulky, and the detachable lift-off canister makes it easy to handle stairs or tight spots. I appreciated that it didn’t feel cheap or overly plastic-y despite being reasonably priced.
When it comes to cleaning power, it handled daily messes like crumbs, pet hair, and tracked-in dirt really well. It had no problem pulling embedded fur from our area rugs and picked up fine dust on hardwood floors with ease. It even tackled glitter—courtesy of my kids’ craft adventures—without a hitch.
We used it on hardwood, tile, low-pile carpet, and area rugs, and it transitioned between surfaces smoothly. Suction stayed strong, and it didn’t scatter debris like some other vacuums we've owned.
My favorite feature was the lift-off canister. It made cleaning curtains, couches, and under furniture a breeze. I also loved the turbo brush attachment; it really pulled fur off upholstery without getting tangled.
The only real downside (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is the lack of a headlight. It would’ve been helpful for seeing under furniture or in dim corners. That aside, it’s a great all-around vacuum, especially for pet and kid messes.

Dog Hair and Popcorn Ceilings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a rug/mat by my porch door that usually requires taking outside (very inconvenient in snowy winter), beating on a tree, and then using a hard bristled broom to get it anywhere near clean. I then have to use a hand brush to get the remaining dog hair. One pass with CleanView, rollers turning, and it was as clean as the day it was unboxed and I didn't have to move it an inch.
I went easily from hard wood floors to a super plush rug, only changing a few settings quickly. It cleaned both surfaces perfectly. I'm a little disturbed by the amount of dog hair I've disposed of, after thinking things were already relatively clean.
The cherry on top was the ability to lift the canister off the base, easily, and use the wand and brush attachment to clean spider webs and years of dust from my 70s mini popcorn ceilings. I don't even want to describe the methods I've tried in the past, but this made it almost enjoyable. The product is light, easy to use and maneuver, the cord is sufficient length, noise is relatively low and it picked up everything I wanted it to. My home is in much better shape since this vacuum arrived.

Great Vacuum and you can see the results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum looks super sharp and modern, and has a pop of blue. By far the coolest visual and functional feature is the clear cleaning basin. You can literally watch all of the dirt that the vacuum picks up—as it picks it up! I was impressed with the flexibility of the vacuum and how it turns and takes corners with ease. Nothing clunky about this vacuum! It picked up cat fur, food particles, and dust from my carpet, hardwood floors, and area rugs. It picked up everything along my baseboards, and the handheld feature helped me get in tough places. The only room for improvement is that the basin is a little tricky to empty at first, but we got used to it. Would highly recommend! My son loved it so much he volunteers to vacuum!
