[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of this vacuum is extremely positive! It’s a well designed, powerful vacuum that truly delivers on performance. Right out of the box, I was impressed by how sleek and modern it looked. The design feels sturdy yet lightweight and it is very user friendly.
The cleaning power really exceeded my expectations. It tackled everything from everyday crumbs, heavier debris, and especially pet hair (which is very important during shedding season with two dogs). I was especially impressed by how well it handled high traffic areas. The suction is strong and consistent, and it didn’t lose power even after extended use.
I used this vacuum on multiple surfaces like carpet, hardwood floors, and area rugs and it performed beautifully on all of them. The only issue I had was the transition from hardwood floor to hallway runners as it tents to get stuck on the edges, otherwise it transitioned smoothly between different surfaces.
My favorite feature by far is the Lift Off canister. Being able to detach it for above floor cleaning is a total game changer! It made cleaning the ceiling fan, couches and corners so much easier and more efficient. It added a level of flexibility that I hadn’t realized I was missing with my previous vacuum.

Great for pet hair and messy children

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of two young boys, plus a dog and a cat, messes pile up fast in my house. Most of our floors are hard surfaces with area rugs in each room, which means I’m constantly battling hair tumbleweeds. I typically vacuum every other day—sometimes daily—just to keep up with the crumbs and pet hair.
I've been using a cordless for years, but lately, I’ve noticed the suction just isn’t cutting it. Out of curiosity, I vacuumed thoroughly with my cordless vacuum one night, then went over everything the next day with the CleanView® Max Lift-Off to see what it could still pick up.
I was honestly horrified by how much hair and debris it pulled up—even after I thought the floors were clean. The suction is seriously powerful; so much so that I had to go slowly on my lighter rugs to keep them from getting pulled in. I used it on the couches, floors, and rugs—and now I’m never going back.
Yes, it’s corded, which is a bit more hassle compared to a cordless vacuum. But the results are absolutely worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT Vacuum for Everyday Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum! I used it right after my cleaning service came, and it picked up a ton of dirt off of the carpet still. I used it on all surfaces (hard, carpet, stairs, etc.) and it did a wonderful job of cleaning up messes quickly. It's also super sharp and modern looking, and looks great sitting in the laundry room!
The best part was the ability to lift off the top and use it independently for hard to reach places. It's so much easier to move around the house like this when doing baseboards, window sills, and other hard to reach places.
The only ding for this vacuum is that it has a cord, but that does get you a lot more power, which is a valid tradeoff.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super Strength

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok the suction of this vacuum far surpassed my previous vacuum! The design is nice and sleek with the parts being easy to take in and out as needed. However, it was a bit heavier than what I'm used to.
Once again, the suction was amazing! After vacuuming my living room rug I was both disgusted and delighted at the same time by how much it picked up. My son was so excited that he went and vacuumed his room after and picked up lots of dust. I will say that this vacuum performs much better on carpet than on hard floors. I had to make a few more passes doing the hard floors. I also vacuumed my dirty mom car with it and it did fantastic. I especially love that it just has one main attatchment where you can move the brush part forward or back to use the plain angled piece. I think that was my favorite feature and it made it so much simpler cleaning my car not have to switch between attachments to either get tight spots or brush up crumbs.
Overall I have been very happy with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the CleanView Max Lift-Off Vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall, I think it’s a great vacuum. It feels well-built, yet it’s lightweight enough to carry around easily, which made cleaning multiple areas of my home much more manageable. The design is modern and intuitive, and I appreciated how straightforward it was to set up and use right out of the box.
The suction power is no joke. It picked up everything in its path. In fact, it almost felt too strong at times, especially when I tried to clean lightweight floor mats, which tended to get pulled into the vacuum. Still, I’d rather deal with strong suction than not enough.
I used it on vinyl flooring, carpet, and even those pesky floor mats. It transitioned easily between surfaces without needing much adjustment, and it performed well across the board.
My favorite feature by far was the detachable handheld vacuum tool. It made getting into tight spaces like corners, stairs, and around furniture much easier. I found myself reaching for it frequently for quick clean-ups.
Overall, this vacuum is a solid choice if you’re looking for something powerful, portable, and versatile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell max lift off is a fantastic choice! The size of the dirt container is perfect and emptying the container is quick and mess free. I was immediately impressed with the strong suction. Even on tile floor, I have never had problems cleaning up debris. The smaller attachment wand is also easy to use on furniture and hard-to-reach areas. My favorite feature is the tangle free brush! It keeps human hair from wrapping around the brush roll and breaking the belt. I absolutely recommend it just for this feature!

Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum is a powerful machine!! The vacuum does have some bulk and weight to it, so initially, I was a little overwhelmed by the size for our small home; however, the cleaning power with our always shedding short haired dog made up for it!! The colors (black and minimal accent blue) are sleek, and it appears modern in design which doesn’t make it stand out if left out of the storage room.
Despite the larger size of the vacuum, the functionality is very user friendly and easy to use. I appreciated the options for carpet heights as we have various carpet/rug thicknesses throughout our home, as well as the option to quickly flip the switch for brush off for hardwood/tile floors and brush on for carpet. We have a rug that we have used multiple vacuums on, and our dog’s hair was always left behind. I attributed it to the rug’s material holding on to the dog hair, but I tried the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum on the rug and I couldn’t believe my eyes – the vacuum canister filled up about halfway and there was not a single hair found left over on the rug!! Additionally, after vacuuming a high traffic rug with one vacuum that we owned and I thought was very powerful, the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum filled up about 1/3 of the canister! The canister is large too and allows you to continue vacuuming in multiple rooms or in big messes without having to empty it frequently. I also appreciate that the canister empties from the bottom, preventing a lot of dust and dander to release in the air.
It also worked great on our hardwood floors and did not create any kick back from behind. It wheels around smoothly, and the swivel feature works well. I love that there is a lift off feature of the vacuum where you can lift it off the floor brush attachment to make it lighter and easier for portable cleaning with the hose attachment. The cord is very long which allows you to move around a large room without having to unplug the cord and move it to another outlet. One nuance we found is that the cord is connected very low on the vacuum which requires you to have to hold the cord while vacuuming, unless it is partly wrapped around the cord hook; it would be great if the cord was connected a little higher up on the vacuum to prevent wear and tear. The base of the brush is higher than other vacuums, which does make it a little difficult to fit under couches and other cabinets/shelves, but this also means the brush is larger and probably is what makes it so effective on carpet and rugs! The storage spots for the hose attachments directly ON the vacuum are also amazing – there is nothing I hate more than having to run back and grab different attachments while vacuuming! No one wants to wear a tool belt when you are cleaning 😊
Overall, I was incredibly impressed by the effectiveness of the Bissell CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum – it worked SO WELL at picking up our dog’s hair and quickly! You can feel the suction power when using it and it is satisfying! I would recommend this to anyone with heavy shedding pets!
