Easy Vacuum for Busy Small Family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CleanView® Max Lift-Off was easy to set up right out of the box, and on first impressio,n got the job done. We used it to quickly vacuum our living room floor (hardwood and rug) and then used the handheld attachments to do a quick pass on our couch cushions. As a household with 2 shedding cats and a toddler, I was impressed by how much I could quickly see gathering in the bin and how much it could hold before I had to empty. The vacuum itself was lightweight and easy to use. I appreciated the location of the cord holders on the vacuum itself, which prevented me from getting tangled up as I maneuvered around the house. Emptying and cleanup were also a breeze thanks to the detachable system. The handling was my biggest issue with this vacuum and why it isn't 5 stars. I prefer more tension and the steering was a tad loose, making it initially hard to navigate with. This is something that can easily be adapted to with use but did create frustration when first navigating the vacuum.

Previously, I was using a high-end vacuum that my husband had invested in, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. Thankfully, this new vacuum arrived just in time, and I'm absolutely loving it! The detachable design makes it incredibly easy to clean my ceiling vents, which is a game-changer for my theater ceilings. The vacuum's ability to pick up everything from small dust particles to larger debris is truly impressive. I also appreciate the convenient on/off feature for the brush, which makes transitioning from carpets to hard surfaces a breeze. While it may be slightly heavy to push on carpet, the exceptional cleaning power makes it well worth the extra effort. As a busy parent of four kids, two dogs, and one cat, I'm constantly battling dirt and dust, but this vacuum has been a lifesaver!

Clean view Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this vacuum, I couldn’t wait to try it out. I own other products from this manufacturer and they never disappoint. I love the clean look of the vacuum, and the large collection canister. Assembly was so simple, my 11 year old was able to do it mostly on his own!
I was able to test this vacuum on linoleum, hardwood floors, carpeting, and a fabric couch covered in cat fur. It did well on the linoleum and hardwood floors, but it didn’t quite fit under my kitchen cabinets. I was able to use the hose attachment to get under them, but there wasn’t a lot of reach for this, and the hose is somewhat short and inflexible. I also found the vacuum to be on the heavy side, which made this job a little tricky.
The vacuum worked great on my carpets, and pulled up dirt and debris I couldn’t even see! I used the turbo brush attachment to tackle the cat fur on my couch, and it did not disappoint! I was very happy with how easily and how well it worked on this surface.
My favorite feature of this vacuum was the way the hose detached from the handle, right where items tend to get stuck. I have never seen this with other vacuums I’ve owned, and in a house with three children, something is bound to get accidentally sucked up and stuck. I also really love the extra large canister. Again with three kids, there is often lots to vacuum up, and I was able to vacuum most of my home without having to empty it.
Overall, I feel this is a great product, though I did find the heavy weight and the small hose to be a bit cumbersome.

All around excellent vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is sleek looking and strong! It is easy to maneuver and lightweight but it packs a strong punch. I tried it out on my rug that had been vacuumed the precious day- and the amount of dust it picked up was amazing! You could see that there was a thick layer of grey in the drum just from my small rug! I went vacuum happy and went and vacuumed all the carpets! I am very pleased with this vacuum to say the least! There are so many cool features that make it user friendly.
The suction is strong. The roller picks up all the crumbs like a broom would, closer to the floor than a standard vacuum. You can easily remove the wand woth one hand, and the wand itself is long so you can reach under beds or high up as well! There is another small turbo brush that is like a mini broom to attach to the wand. I'm imagining that being very helpful cleaning my kids crumbs in the back of my car.
This vacuum is great for any household upkeep and any surface!

Great household vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off has exceeded my expectations. I really like that this vacuum is light weight and easy to use, and it works well on carpet and hard surfaces. As a family with girls who have long hair the tangle free roller is very helpful and I haven’t had any hair get caught up in it yet. I was very impressed by the amount of dirt that was picked up out of my carpet, as someone who vacuums fairly regularly I was shocked by how much dirt, dust and hair this vacuum picked up. I didn’t think I would really use the lift-off feature, but now that I have the vacuum I am finding all sorts of reasons to use it from cleaning spider webs off of the ceiling, vacuuming fan blades and dirt off of window tracks. The lift-off feature makes using the hand held attachments so much easier, I can just pick it up with one hand and carry it to where I want to be. The vacuum has a nice long cord, but I do wish it was a retractable cord rather than one that needs to be wound up after each use. Over all I think this vacuum is a win, I plan to have my kids do more vacuuming over the summer and I know that they will have no issues with this machine.

Great suction but build quality not the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the CleanView Max Lift-Off for a couple weeks now, and it offers a great suction power, ideal for carpeted and hard floor.
I have used it primarily on mid-long carpets and it cleans them deeply thanks to the brush and the suction power.

On the weakness side, the lift-away technology is very convenient, but the vacuum lacks the ability to go under furnitures. Also, the build doesn't feel as sturdy as the competitors as most of the vacuum is made of plastic. This might impact the longevity of the vacuum, but makes it lighter to transport.

Great with Pet Hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a Great Pyrenees, which means we have a TON of long dog hair to clean up. I used the CleanView after I did my daily runthrough with my stick vacuum, and was amazed at how much more dirt and hair it picked up! It was easy to adjust between hardwood and carpet, and made such a noticeable difference. It was very easy to assemble and get started right out of the box, and the attachments were convenient for getting into the couch and curtains. My only nitpick is that it can be hard to get under some furniture because it's a little bulky, but it was easy to maneuver, powerful, and had the attachments to make up for that. While I do like the convenience of a stick vacuum for quick messes, this was undeniably much much more powerful and will be a staple in our house!

Very versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed by this vacuum. My family only buys Bissell and there's a reason why: the power and quality. The Cleanview Max looks nice and has the clear dust bin most newer Bissell's have. All the attachments tuck cleanly against the machine and don't get caught on the cable.
The suction on this machine is top notch and it worked on every type of flooring in my house: longer carpet, short area rugs, and hardwood floors. It was able to efficiently get pet hair, dirt, etc up with ease. I could see all the tiny particles in the tank, in addition to the dog hair. The swivel steering and smaller base/brush make it easy to get in tight corners and underneath kitchen chairs and couches and it was my favorite feature by far. Plus, none of the hair got wrapped up in the brush, which is a feat with two dogs and the long hair in my family. With lift-off pod, I was able to tackle the corners and crevices of the couch & chairs.
