Awesomely Powerful and Maneuverable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CleanView Max is my single piece of cleaning equipment that covers a lot of ground! It is impressively powerful... perhaps a bit too powerful.
Assembly was simple taking only minutes after removing the pieces from the box.
I appreciated the sleek look and relatively light weight which made it easy to handle.
I used the vacuum on several floor surfaces as well as above floor surfaces. Low-shag and plush carpet both vacuumed beautifully with powerful suction. Suction can be switched from hard-floor to carpet in addition to varying carpet lengths and thicknesses by controlling the strength of the suction. I also vacuumed my tile and vinyl flooring with ease. The swivel foot allows for smooth maneuvering under furniture.
In addition to floors, I also used the the hose and TurboBrush to clean my sofa cushions. The quick-release wand was easy to pop in and out. I also used the edging tool with the brush to clean window sills, vents and cabinet doors.
I was amazed to see how much dirt was picked up and then simply released the dirt tank and emptied it.
My least favorite area to vacuum is stairs. First, I tried the TurboBrush because it was so easy and effective on my furniture. It was amazingly light, powerful and easy to manage. I was impressed!
Then my only problem occurred as I tried the regular full vacuum on the steps to compare. The swivel foot was challenging to maneuver and I ran over the cord. Due to the powerful suction, the cord was sucked up and stripped! Of course I didn't intend to run over the cord, but the cord should be strong enough to handle being run over on occasion.
The vacuum functioned on a solid 5-star level, but the cord was an unfortunate disappointment.

We have liftoff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did I think I would be this excited over a new vaccum? Not a chance. Was I blown away after using it? YES! First of all, putting it together was so incredibly easy and quick. So easy in fact, I did it in less than 5 minutes with my toddler running around the house. Once I got this bad boy up and running I knew we were in for a love story. This vaccum is tiny but mighty! Not to mention it’s relatively quiet for a vaccum. I love that I can get under the table and it stays flush to the floor, it has a decent turning radius, and the suction is top notch. I have two dogs, so the furballs that accumulate gives any vaccum a run for the money. And let me tell you, this powerful vaccum had no problems tackling the fur. I have all surfaces in my house and the vaccum is incredible with them all. Hardwood, carpet, rugs— no problem! It also has a button that’s easily accessible when vacuuming to switch between surfaces and that was a cool feature. I LOVE the lift off option, it made doing my stairs such a breeze and my back wasn’t screaming at the end!! The wand release is so easy I can hold my baby and do that at the same time, making getting under the cabinets and other tight spaces so easy. The canister is easy to dump and holds a decent amount. My absolute favorite feature was the turbo brush tool- it is powerful and made cleaning the couch cushions and all the nooks and crannies SO quick and effective. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with this product!!

Great Power for Larger Areas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this vacuum has great power and is great for larger areas. The vacuum was quite easy to assemble, no small pieces. It’s not too heavy which made it nice to carry up and down steps. It has great suction power and combined with the brush speed, it picked up so much. It is very easy to adjust from high pile carpet to low/hard wood so transitioning from room to room was simple. It maneuvers great in larger areas but was just a bit bulky for more narrow spaces. It still was able to get under beds and couches and coffee tables but was too wide to get in areas like between the bed and wall or between the couch and coffee table. I was impressed with the tangle free brush roll. There’s still some hair there, but I have quite long hair and usually spend a lot of time cutting it out of my other vacuum between cleanings. The combo brush/narrow space attachment tool is interesting. I like that the brush can be removed, otherwise it adds bulk to the tool meant for narrow spaces. And I like that it reduces the amount of tools to attach to the vacuum.

Efficient Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised with this vacuum! I have hardwood and tile flooring with area rugs and I was able to use it easily on all surfaces.
It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. It's also not overly loud when operating.
I have a shedding dog and 2 young children, so hair and messes are inevitable. This vacuum was able to quickly pick up pet hair and food crumbs. It has a large capacity canister so I was able to finish vacuuming without having to stop and empty.
I appreciate being able to switch the suction level and hard floor vs carpet. I do wish the controls were both on the handle for a smoother transition, but that is not a dealbreaker. I'm able to use less suction to easily vacuum rugs without them bunching up or getting sucked in.
The turbo brush attachment was perfect to clean the pet hair off of my couch and the crevice tool was handy as well. I love that there is a spot to store each tool on the vacuum as I have lost tools in the past with nowhere to store them.
Overall, I have no complaints and this vacuum definitely gets the job done easily!

Great Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of the CleanView Max Lift-Off is a positive one. It has easy to navigate features allowing you to quickly figure out how everything works. I appreciate how the handle serves as the detachable wand allowing you to easily reach harder to get areas quickly without having to add or remove any accessories. As far as the vacuum’s cleaning performance goes, I was impressed. I first used the vacuum on our living room carpet which we vacuum regularly and could not believe the amount of stuff it picked up. I was also impressed with the tangle free brushes. Although some hair still got tangled, it was a huge improvement from what we are used to. I used the vacuum on carpet and laminate to clean up everyday messes and it worked great on both (I have 3 young children). I would recommend this vacuum due to its cleaning power and innovative features, my favorite being the handle that serves as the wand attachment.

powerful quiet and necessary for pet parents

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: This vacuum is so quiet that I can listen to my podcast through my earbuds, on normal level while vacuuming. It does a great job on both hardwood floors and carpet. However, I have pretty short pile and when I had it on “low carpet/bare floor”, it was REALLY hard to push so I changed it to “plush carpet” and it was way easier. It’s powerful yet easy to maneuver with the comfortable handle. The first time I used it on all my floors, it picked up quite a bit. I have three cats, one of whom I call my Exploding Kitten because she’s long haired and sheds a LOT. I assume some of what it picked up were carpet fibers but I’m confident much of it was dirt, hair, dander, etc. I love that I can switch from hardwood to carpet in one flip of a switch. The two included attachments conveniently attach to the sides and, I just figured this out today, there is a cord holder just below the handle which was previously bugging me that I had to keep picking it up off the floor. The easy ‘wand release’ makes a quick switch to these attachments very fluid. AND!!…you can simply remove the top section of the vacuum if you don’t need the roller brush section, for say, stairs, tight corners, etc. I have long hair and also shed a lot so the “tangle free” roller brush will certainly be tested over time. I think it’s fantastic that it has a HEPA filter but I can’t say much about that because I don’t know how much those will cost to replace. Easy to empty the canister, which I do after every use because it’s so satisfying to see how much I get each time. Haha!
Cons: It’s certainly more bulky than my stick vacuum and is not convenient to use when vacuuming under chairs and tables because of that. I also find myself grabbing the stick vacuum when needing to do a quick cleanup job.

Great suction and functionality for all flr types

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I can't give partial stars but would give this a solid 4.5 (possibly 4.7) stars out of 5. The suction on this vacuum cleaner is pretty great. This was very easy to assemble (didn't even need the directions), not incredibly heavy and you have the ability to remove from wand at both the hose and the container part.
I LOVE the small turbo attachment. Combine that with the ability to remove the hose and I don't think my carpeted stairs have been cleaner. I actually prefer this vacuum on hardwoods over my very plush carpet. I find on my carpet, it does well, but noticed on some things it took a couple of passes to pick up some bigger crumbs, as it would just push them behind. The suction also is VERY strong on smaller rugs, so had some trouble with the vacuum sucking up the rug too.
I don't have pets but do have lots of shedding people in my house, and so far, I have not seen any wrapping of hair around the brush, which is plus.
I would definitely recommend this vacuum to others who have mixed flooring throughout their house and want a vacuum that does it all.

Surprisingly Powerful and Totally Worth It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I vacuum at least every other day, so I thought my floors were already pretty clean. But the first time I used this vacuum—literally the day after I had vacuumed with my old one—I was shocked by how much dirt, sand, and who-knows-what else it pulled up. Living beachside in Florida, sand is basically a member of the family, but this vacuum showed me how much was still lurking in my floors. I was seriously impressed with its power.
Design-wise, it looks fine—not super flashy, but it gets the job done. I was surprised by how heavy it is, especially compared to my old vacuum. At first, I thought the weight would keep me from using it regularly, but I’ve actually gone back to it every time instead of my old one. Even more surprising: my 7- and 9-year-olds are able to use it just fine, despite the weight. They can maneuver it easily enough, which is a win for me.
As for cleaning power—yeah, this thing sucks (in the best way). We have three kids and a dog, and our floors take a beating. Between backyard adventures and baseball fields, there’s always dirt, sand, and grass getting tracked in. This vacuum handles it all without a problem.
I’ve used it on tile, plush carpet, and low-pile area rugs, and it’s done a great job across the board. I really appreciate being able to adjust the spin and suction depending on the surface—it makes a big difference.
My favorite feature, though, has to be the attachments. We’ve got big sliding glass doors, and those crevices collect everything—especially during lovebug season (Florida people, you know what I mean). The nozzles make it easy to get into those tight spots and suck up all the bugs and debris. Honestly, it's been a game-changer.
