A Powerful and Versatile Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am incredibly impressed with the CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum cleaner! It has a really sleek design and is compact enough to fit in a smaller closet, but has all the power and gadgets of a full sized vacuum. We have a different vacuum that we’ve loved for years, but the CleanView has won me over. It has much better suction and better swivel around the base - very handy for cleaning at odd angles.
We dog sat for our friends when they went on vacation and the vacuum helped us easily clean pet hair and dander. It worked well on wood flooring, area rugs, and tile. I also used it to deep clean my mattresses and curtains. I really love the small brush attachment and used it to clear the layer of dust on my baseboards.
Another fantastic feature is the removable handle, which my six year old loves to use with the attachments. My favorite feature is that the body of the vacuum can be lifted off the base with the touch of a button! This was really handy for sucking up dust off of higher, harder to reach places.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Powerful and compact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit skeptical of this vacuum after taking it out of the box. The unit is much lighter/smaller than previous models I’ve tried and I wasn’t sure it would be strong enough to clean my floors. I’ve never been so happy to be wrong. Max Lift-Off is a perfect name for this vacuum. The moment you flip power switch, can feel the strength of this device. As the owner of a short hair dog who is constantly shedding, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate only needing to make one pass with a vacuum cleaner. There were a couple of spots underneath my couch cushions where I had given up any hope of removing the tiny hairs…not a problem for the Max Lift-Off (see Before & after photos). My only minor complaint is the limited range of motion or lack of swivel but it’s an easy concession to make after seeing how great of a job it did cleaning my carpet and couch. It takes up a fraction of the space in my closet compared to my last vacuum and the compact design makes it easy to store in tight spaces.

Solid stand up plug in vacuum with good power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this vacuum is a step up from what I had been using, and I'm rather pleased with it.
It looks nice, it's got a big tank without being too bulky, it's lightweight considering it's size, and it's got great maneuverability on turns and corners. The accessories are very helpful for tight spaces, and unlike some other vacuum cleaners it's very easy to attach those pieces to the body of the tank while not in use so that they get misplaced. This seems like a minor point, but it's been very frustrating in the past with other vacuums when those attachments weren't easily accessible.
I found it very easy to get into tight spaces with the attachments, but the little 'power brush' attachment is too rigid and all of maneuverability of the main part is gone with that part. The regular vacuum was great for hard wood and tile and the power brush setting on the foot of the vacuum was great for carpets, but there were times when it would stop as if it got jammed or something, but it didn't seem like anything actually caused it.. luckily it was easy to fix by just turn the brush of and back on.
But this brush was particularly good at keeping up with my dog's considerable shedding, which is no small task, while also not damage carpet and upholstery.
One feature that I miss from my old vacuum is the retractable power cord. This one has a place to wrap the cord up while not in use, but it would really be nice to be able to hit a button and have the wire take care of itself.
But that's a minor gripe compared to the the strenghts of this product. The biggest strength over other, similar vacuum cleaners is the power with respect to the weight and dexterity of the body of this item. It's small enough to store in a closet but powerful enough to clean my whole home. In general, I'm very pleased with it.

Loving the tangle free roller
on May 27, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using this vacuum pretty regularly on multiple surfaces (hard floor, low carpet, high pile carpet, washable rugs) and using the hose wand and all of it’s attachments on a variety of messes for about a week now.
PROS: Out of the box, it was very easy to set up and we got to use it right away. It’s got great suction that can be adjusted (if it feels like the suction is not very good, you probably need to change the switch on the handle to low carpet/bare floor instead of plush carpet). The tangle free roller is a game changer. We have a dog and 4 people in our household with long hair, so we’re pretty used to cutting hair off of the roller of vacuums. This roller immediately got hair wrapped around it (see pictures), but it came right off much more easily than any other vacuum we’ve had. The suction level settings are fantastic for our needs: the low carpet/bare floor setting is high enough to actually suck up dirt etc, but low enough it doesn’t suck our washable rugs off of their Velcro pads. Between the hose and the regular vacuum, it did a great job of cleaning all of the messes we put to it: floor and ceiling crevices and corners, dirt/cereal/dog food, and regular everyday vacuuming. We also appreciate that you can use the hose/want attachment without having to unwind the entire cord like on our old vacuum. I also really liked the option of using the brush on the crevice tool on my baseboards. CONS: I gave it four stars because it’s not the sharpest looking vacuum and the vacuum itself and its parts feel like they are made out of cheap plastic. It’s a little louder and heavier than our old vacuum (a similar model of a different brand), and the cord is a lot shorter than our other vacuum. It also doesn’t propel itself along the carpet as well. This, and its weight, makes it harder for my kids to competently use. Its clearance is too low to go over cereal and dog food on the floor, but the hose easily takes care of them.
Otherwise, the dirt tank is spacious and empties easily, even when filled with lots of hair and dust. Everything is pretty clearly labeled and it is easy and effective to use. Overall, I’m pretty happy with it. If it weren’t for the negative things I outlined above, I’d think it was the perfect vacuum!

Great vacuum for those with toddlers
on May 27, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family found that the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum cleaner is a versatile option designed to tackle a variety of cleaning tasks. It's particularly well-suited for homes with pets, offering features aimed at effective hair removal and multi-surface cleaning. While there are no pets in my family, we do have a 2.5 year old toddler and there are lots of messes.
Some of the things we loved about the vacuum is its strong suction power and the lift-off feature of the detachable canister. In our last vacuum it felt as if we were going over the same spot multiple times and the debris was just not being sucked up. The CleanView’s suction power is so strong, I can get dirt out of the most hard to reach corners and crevices without any hassle. The lift-off feature and the attachments provide a great versatility in the various places that are otherwise hard to get to such as our stairs, shutter blinds, and the crevices of our son’s high chair. We also have various surfaces in our house - carpet, tile flooring, area rugs - and it’s worked out great in each of the areas.
Some areas where there is room for improvement would be its weight and smaller hose length. The lift off feature helps reduce weight when in that mode, however maneuvering the vacuum up and down stairs may be problematic for elderly, or in my case, pregnant individuals.
Overall, the pros in our case did outweigh the cons. The Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum cleaner is a solid choice for those seeking a versatile cleaning solution, particularly in homes with pets or young children. Its strong suction and helpful attachments make it effective for various cleaning tasks and hard to reach areas.

Powerful workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To set the stage, I'm clean floor obsessed and do all of my own cleaning. We have a combination of hardwoods and carpet, a dog who's a moderate shedder, and two teens so there's lots of in and out in our house and floors get dirty quickly. The CleanView Max Lift Off is a solid workhouse of a vacuum that has great suction power. We run a robot vac most days and I was astounded at what this vac picked up off the floors. I used it all over my house and every time I left a room I was shocked how much dirt was in the canister.
The Lift Off feature is definitely a plus. I used it most for vacuuming flights of stairs. It's really easy to lift off the main canister and not be limited by the plug. I also used it to reach a high shelf in my closet. It's super useful if you have high or tight spaces where you need to maneuver without a clunky machine
The vacuum also comes with a great spinning attachment which sucks up pet hair like nobody's business. I used it to clean our couch and it looked like brand new when I was done!
The only reason this gets a 4 instead of a 5 is because it doesn't come with a retractable cord. If you're vacuuming lots of rooms, gathering up the cord each time you have to move is a pain. If that doesn't bother you, I'd highly recommend it.

Powerful Suction
on May 27, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As "adulting" as it sounds, I was excited to try out the CleanView® Max Lift-Off as soon as I received it. The first thing I noticed about this vacuum is that it has a powerful suction! With 3 kids, a dog and 90% of my house being carpet, I vaccuum almost every day and need a powerful suction. My current vacuum is ~5 years old and this vacuum picked up a lot of dust that my old vacuum left behind - I was shocked! This vacuum is also very lightweight, which makes vacuuming my stairs easier. This vacuum claims to have a tangle free roller and so far that has held true for me, so that is another pro. There are a couple cons I noticed: 1) The on/off switch is not on the handle, it's down lower on the lift off pod. This seems minor, but I'm often holding my toddler while vacuuming and this makes it harder to turn it on and off and switch from carpet to hard wood floors. 2) I wish the cord were a bit longer. Overall, I think this is a good vacuum for the price!

Powerful performance with a Turbo boost
on May 27, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cleaning power of this vacuum really stood out from the moment I turned it on. It has strong, consistent suction that handled everything from fine dust to larger debris with ease. Whether it was pet hair, crumbs, or dirt tracked in from outside, the vacuum picked it all up in a single pass. I was especially impressed by how well it tackled embedded debris in carpets—it gave everything a noticeably cleaner, fresher look. I really appreciated the locking mechanism of the hose, I knew it wasn’t going to dislodge when I used the wand for cleaning cobwebs off the ceiling. I also loved the fact that the unit can lift off of the base, making it more portable for those high, hard to reach areas. The only thing I wish this vacuum had is a retractable cord, but that doesn’t change my positive impression. My favorite feature by far was the turbo brush. It worked wonders on upholstery and carpeted stairs, and was especially effective at pulling up pet hair and embedded dirt. It gave a much deeper clean in areas that usually require extra effort. Having the turbo brush made a huge difference—it felt like I had a whole extra tool just for those tougher spots. All in all, this vacuum combines smart design with real cleaning power, and the turbo brush really sets it apart. Highly recommended!
