Powerful Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum worked really well on the carpet and hardwoods of our home. We don’t have dogs or cats, but rather pet birds. Their feathers and down float in the air to every room of the house, so having a vacuum that can handle it is important. It is not too heavy and is easy to maneuver. I like how easy to empty the waste cup is to empty! My only critique is that the power cord seems a little short, so you may have to shift where it’s plugged as you clean more often than expected. Overall I would recommend this model!

Great Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great, multipurpose vacuum! My house is all hardwood and rugs and you can easily switch back and forth with turning the roller on and off. The suction was powerful right out of the box. It's easy to empty the container and really satisfying to see all the dirt it's picking up. The only place we have carpet is on our stairs and this is the first vacuum that makes it easy for me to tackle those! The whole motor lifts off the floor roller so that you can take the canister up one stair at a time as you go. The hose pops out with a click and there's a carpet/upholstery attachment that stores right on the machine. That did the trick, and you can adjust the suction power on the hose as well, which I love. We don't have animals, but we do have 4 children under 10 who leave messes everywhere. The versatility of this machine means I can suck up anything, anywhere.

Powerful and lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To begin, I have a dog that sheds NON-STOP, and a cat. I was excited to try this vacuum to see how it held up to our daily mess. First, putting together the vacuum was a breeze. So simple! The pieces themselves are lightweight, and it almost gives a feeling like it’s fragile and will not be powerful. However, it is powerful! It is a nice looking machine and designed well. I vacuumed a few surfaces on my first go around to test it out. Carpet: it did its job! Maybe 2-3 times I had to go back over a little piece of dirt before it got it, but otherwise it did great. Left fantastic lines that I wasn’t expecting because it didn’t seem like it would be THAT powerful. Tile in bathroom: I switched the roller off and flipped the switch to bare floor and it sucked up every bit of hair and dust beautifully. Bath rugs: I cannot currently vacuum these with the vacuum I have, because it will suck the rugs up. However, with this bissell I can! It took a bit of effort to push the machine over it back and forth but it works, and I love that!! I also used the crevice/duster attachment to see how it would do. Let me just say beforehand that I am SO glad the vacuum itself has two spots for the attachments. Some vacuums don’t have anywhere to keep the attachments and that is awful - I either misplace or just never use them. I used the duster brush on our air return and it worked MUCH better than I anticipated. It didn’t seem like there was crazy good suction feeling it with my hand, but it got all of the dust and all of the pet hair off with the brush! I also used this tool without the brush to get kitty litter off of the rubber mat I keep in front of the litter box, and it worked just fine. Overall, this vacuum did wonderful! It is lightweight (which gives the impression it won’t be powerful), powerful, convenient, and flexible. The swivel head helps navigate around spaces, the brush roll can be turned on or off and does a great job on carpets (brush roll on) and hard floors (brush roll off). The dirt cup was extremely easy to empty. I did check the brush roll when I was done, out of curiosity, and it looks like there was maybe 1-2 hairs wrapped on it, but it doesn’t look like those are going to create a rat’s nest over the roll. After using it on a variety of surfaces and messes, I don’t think there is a mess this Bissell won’t handle, and I love it. I think my favorite thing about this vacuum is the attachments and having a place to store the attachments. This is a huge plus, so thank you Bissell!

Really great and versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in the process of moving so my home is a literal chaos zone. Between packing, sorting, up and down attics and basements there’s been quite a bit of floor debris to keep up with. In addition I struggle with allergies so the extra dust has not been helpful. I also wanted something to clean door jams and window sills with so to not leave the new owner with a mess. This vacuum covers all those territories and more. I currently have a mixture of hardwood floors and area rugs with minimal carpeting. I love the versatility to set between high pile and low pile/ bare floors for the different jobs as well as the maneuvering around tighter spaces . The cord length is awesome as I can do a large area without having to re plug in different outlets. The feature of the lift off canister was great for vacuuming mattresses as well as window sills. The hose attachments are also fantastic allowing me to get into tight corners and loosen some dirt that my previous vacuum wouldn’t touch . Before using this I vacuumed with my previous vacuum to see if it picked up much that my old one may have missed and was impressed with the results . I would definitely recommend this vacuum to anyone who has a variety of jobs to tackle without having to use multiple devices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great vacuum! It’s lightweight and maneuvers well on carpet. I love the various settings so that I can get the best clean on higher pile carpets. My carpet was even softer after I used it. It picks up dust well, and with the clear container, you can see how much dirt/dust you’re getting up. I like the detachable hose for doing my stairs and dusting corners and ceiling fans. The only downside of this vacuum is that it’s not cordless. Otherwise, I think it’s great!

Better than high end cordless vacuums

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So overall, I really love this new CleanView® Max Lift-Off! vacuum cleaner. I had gotten so used to the minor pros and major cons of cordless vacuums, that this was a surprisingly simple and sturdy cleaning experience with zero headaches. I have owned several “pet hair” vacuums, and this one seems to be as strong or stronger than the top of the line version from that one brand- you know the one- that I owned years ago. Recently, for the sake of convenience, I have been using one of that brand’s cordless vacuums. It has not been a great experience. The battery does not last! I literally have to vacuum downstairs and then recharge it overnight, and then vacuum upstairs the next day! That is no longer a problem with the CleanView® Max Lift-Off! vacuum. Going back to a corded vacuum means that I have maximum power available for as long as I need it. The CleanView® Max Lift-Off! vacuum seems to be very well made. It assembled out of the box very quickly and easily. I have used it on tile and on carpet. It has two convenient switches for choosing between hard surfaces/short pile and long pile carpets, and another for off/no roller/roller- very nice for tile floors so that you actually vacuum up debris instead of scatrering all over. The only negative thing I can say about the CleanView® Max Lift-Off! vacuum is that I don’t find any use or afvantage of the “lift off” feature. I found this out while vacuuming my carpeted stairs. Releasing the canister from the base doesn’t shed that much weight. And then, instead of using the large rollers on the base, you have to use the smaller roller attachment on the hose. This made the stairs job much more labor intensive because you can’t cover as much area, plus you have to hold the canister in your other hand. I gave up halfway up the stairs and reattached the base. Much quicker nothing to hold/carry. The only use case I can see for the “lift off” feature is if you are vacuuming out your car maybe. Overall, this is a great vacuum though, and it did a great job catching all the cat hair, dirt, and stray litter granules in our multiple pet house.

Great suction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For background info, I have multi surfaces throughout my home, carpet in bedrooms, tile in bathrooms and wood floors in main living. I vacuum my home on a daily basis with a stick vacuum but typically reserve a heavier duty vacuum (like this one) for a "cleaning day". With first use of this Max Lift-Off, I noticed a more powerful suction right away. This makes it obvious that this vacuum is picking up way more than my previous vacuum as evidenced by the canister. We do not have any indoor pets but I'm pretty sure my hair sheds like an animal so it has been nice to run this in my bathroom and bedroom to pick up all my hair. I also love how easy it is to switch from different types of floors easily as well go up the stairs with the Lift-Off feature. So far I'm pleased with this vacuum and the ease of its maneuvering capabilities. My favorite feature is how lightweight it is and again, how you can lift the canister off to go up the stairs or in a car, etc.

Works well and easy to us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying a Bissell and I was pleasantly surprised. The vacuum isn’t too heavy and was easy to use. The attachments are easy to store on the vacuum itself and easy to attach. I did find the long handle for the attachments a little harder to have good control as my other vacuum can attach right at the handle with better control. The vacuum had many settings for my tile, wood floors, low rugs, and thicker carpet. The brush roll can be easily turned on or off depending on need and also has option for plush carpet or low carpet/bare floors. I only had issues with our very plush long carpet rug where the brush roll would stop within one stroke and it didn’t feel like it was sucking enough without it. I felt like the suction worked well especially with all the dog hair we have from our Labrador retriever. I used this vacuum multiple times in the first week or two and it always found more hair and dust. It was also easy to empty and the filters are easy to find and clean. Overall I am very happy with this vacuum but I should say that my other more expensive vacuum does feel like it has a little more suction power but this one wasn’t far behind!
