Pretty good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we really liked this vacuum. We have two toddlers as well as two large dogs in our household. We have a mix of carpet, hardwoods and tiles and we felt like this vacuum could tackle messes on all floor types. I do wish it had a retractable cable but that’s a personal preference. The power on the upholstery cleaner attachment could be a little bit stronger but does the job for the most part. It’s hard to find anything strong enough to clean up after two dogs!! I did not see a difference in strength between the high carpet and low carpet settings. The manual suggests to not use the brush roll when vacuuming hardwoods and tiles but I felt that it worked better if the brush roll was turned on. By doing this, it does mean that the vacuum is fairly loud when using on anything but carpet. Overall the quality of the product is very good and is a useful vacuum for a home with numerous floor types, pets, and kids.

Solid and strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum works great. It is easy to use, versatile in its features, and seems steady and reliable. It is more compact than some other traditional vacuums, but it is still pretty big. I will only use bangles vacuums, so this definitely fits that bill, and it is strong enough to pick up everything. The cord is a good length. The attachments are intuitive—enough options to tackle all my vacuuming needs but not so many that it’s overwhelming. All the pieces store on the body of the vacuum, which is great! My only complaint is that because of the lift-off feature that allows the body of the vacuum to separate from the base for different types of cleaning and mobility, the vacuum is top-heavy. This makes it more difficult to maneuver, especially for children.
Works great on carpet, rugs, and wood, and it’s easy to adjust the settings between the three.

Relief for Allergies with Powerful Suction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CleanView® Max Lift-Off vacuum has been a great addition to our home. As a parent of young kids, I’m constantly cleaning up dirt, crumbs, and hair, and this vacuum handled all of it with ease. The suction is strong and it performed well on rugs, carpet, and laminate floors. It’s lightweight and not too bulky, which made it easy to carry and store. I liked the design overall, though I did find the cord a bit short and had to switch outlets more often than usual. The attachments were simple but effective for cleaning tight spaces and furniture, and the dust tank was very easy to empty. My favorite feature is how smoothly it maneuvers. It gets into corners and around furniture effortlessly, which helps me feel confident that everything is getting cleaned which is especially important with our son's allergies.

I’ve even started reaching for it in place of my cordless stick vac because it’s so user friendly and the suction is that good. It easily goes between carpet/rugs and hard flooring with no issues. There’s a conveniently located toggle on the handle to indicate which flooring you’re on. The brush roll on/off switch is part of the power toggle located further down the base, which might be better located on the handle for quick switching, but that’s the only thing I’d change about it. Emptying the bin is simple and mess free. Releasing the wand to add attachments is a simple twist and click. Another unexpected bonus… it’s so lightweight and easily maneuverable that my 8 year old son has found a new passion in vacuuming! Though honestly, it’s such a pleasure to use that I don’t mind doing it myself!

Perfect for pets

To say it tackles everything I put in front of it would be an understatement. I haven’t had any issue cleaning up any mess. From BBs to crumbs and cat hair. No issues switching from hardwood to carpet and then tile. No clogging issues and smooth transition from lift off to connected.

Wonderful vacuum for every day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really like the Bissell CleanView Max. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and has strong suction. I’ve used it on hardwood floors, high-pile carpet, and low-pile rugs—it transitions smoothly between all three, which was a pleasant surprise. The design made it easy to clean our couch and curtains, too.
Assembly was a breeze, and emptying the canister is quick and mess-free. The almost-modular design makes it incredibly functional. One of my favorite features is the lift-away option—it made vacuuming the couch much easier without having to awkwardly drag the entire unit around.
I also really appreciate how the hose separates for extension use. It's a much more convenient and user-friendly design compared to traditional vacuums, making it easier to tackle baseboards, corners, and furniture.
That said, a few small cons:
1. I couldn’t find a cord holder clip—maybe I missed it, but if it’s not there, that’s a little inconvenient.
2. I wish it had a retractable cord instead of a manual wind-up.
3. Some attachments could be better. The pet hair tool, for example, doesn’t spin very well when used on upholstery like a couch.
Despite those minor issues, this vacuum delivers great value and functionality. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an effective vacuum with thoughtful design features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with the overall performance of this vacuum! It has a nice modern design that looks great and fells well-built. The cleaning power was strong (which is needed) - and easily handled everything from everyday crumbs, pet hair and larger debris. I used it on laminate, low-pile carpet and area rugs with no issues between transition of surfaces. My favorite feature was the swivel steering - It made maneuvering around furniture, toys and tight corners a breeze! Overall, this vacuum made cleaning feel less like a chore!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of the vacuum was that it was a great, heavy-duty vacuum for a deep clean. Because it is a fairly large type of vacuum, it looks fairly sleek and compact, considering its suction power.
What did you think of the cleaning power? What types of messes did it help you tackle?
We used the vacuum to clean up after our young kids finished dinner, played in the living room, and in the mud room (which typically gets pretty messy). This is a combination of hardwood and rugged surfaces. We plan on using it upstairs in our fully carpeted rooms, but have not had a chance to bring it up yet.

This vacuum is designed for mess cleanup. It is a bit heavy and has a lot of great parts that we can use for different types of surfaces or vacuuming needs. The one thing that I wish it had was a wet vac option - however, I understand that it would require a different component.
Overall, we are very happy with this vacuum cleaner, especially because it can be used on our couches, floors, rugs, and carpets.
