Minimal look maximum performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very impressed with the CleanView® Max Lift-Off! For one, I loved that it has a minimalist design with no unnecessary extras but still looks sleek and high-end with a quality build that's not clunky. Since it’s so lightweight, it allowed me to simply move it around my home, and the extended hose was a big plus in getting into those pesky cobwebs in those hard to reach corners.
But my favorite thing about this vacuum is the Turbo Brush attachment. WOW! I've never seen attachment power like that on a vacuum before. It’s a whole new league. I used it on my couch, which I daily lint roll and once a week vacuum with a different make, and I didn't know how much pet hair and lint it still extracted. It also left my son’s area rug looking like they just emerged from the cleaner and was brand new. The HEPA filter is a definite plus for my child’s room as well, helping to mitigate allergens in my home.
The overall cleaning power is excellent as it was able to clean up dirt, dust, and pet hair that I hadn't seen fall. It's clear that this vacuum gets down deeper than most.
If you desire a simple to operate vacuum that isn't too heavy and is very effective and if you have pets the Turbo Brush alone is worth it. I highly recommend it!

Versatile cleaning for every day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received the CleanView max lift of vacuum we were immediately impressed by the look of the machine and the filter system. The clear reservoir was very helpful when vacuuming our main level carpet. It was easy to see right away how well the machine performed. I also used it on our wood floor level in place of sweeping crumbs. The simple adjustment settings make it easy to move from each level. My only complaint is that the cord is shorter than I’m used to so I had to stop and plug into a new outlet a few times. However, the effectiveness of the machine makes this an easy compromise to make. We also loved the hose feature and attachments. Again, it is very easy to change quickly to this mode of cleaning. The suction of the hose was strong and I easily cleaned our carpeted stairs and well as any tight corners in the house. My favorite feature, and something I had not seen before, was the clear view of the spinning brush. We have two family members with long hair and have had to untangle it from our previous vacuum often. I have been using the clear view vacuum for several weeks and the brush is still clear of hair! Thank you to the Stellar Reciews Panel for sending us this product. We love it!

Excellent Midsize Vacuum
on May 26, 2025
Posted by: RMGGG
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this vacuum! It's a great midsize, not exactly light weight but not too big or bulky either. Assembly and use could not be easier! I have a very lightweight rug that I honestly had not vacuumed prior to using the Bissell CleanView Max Lift-Off because it would get pulled up and caught in other vacuum cleaners. With this vacuum, changing the carpet type to low pile is conveniently located right on the handle. It's also very easy to turn the brush roll on and off which is great for cleaning hardwood floors and area rugs. The best part about this vacuum is how simple it is to detach the Lift-Off Pod in order to clean overhead areas or other non-floor areas. The Turbo Brush is a dream for using on the couch, pillows, and dog bed. It was so satisfying to see all the pet hair this vacuum collected that we didn't even realize was there!

Really powerful vacuum
on May 26, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with this vacuum, and the thing at the top of my list of what I liked is the suction power. I’m not sure I’ve used a household vacuum that gets more dirt, dust, and lint out of the carpet. It got dirt out of brand new carpet that had just been laid (and already vacuumed twice), and got more out of carpet I had just vacuumed with my previous vacuum which I have loved. If you’re looking for power, this one has it!
Other things I liked: the suction power and carpet height control are located at the top of the vacuum and can easily be changed by sliding it with your finger. I like that it has a swivel head that can go around corners more easily, and the turbo brush attachment was really impressive; it also has the best suction I’ve ever seen in a brush attachment. The crevice tool attachment conveniently changes between the hard edge and brush edge as well. I appreciated how easy it was to unhook the hose to hook on attachments as well as to remove the brush roller component to use it on the stairs. It worked smoothly on carpet as well as hardwood.
The biggest con of this vacuum for me is the cord length. It’s significantly shorter than my previous vacuum so it required me to use different outlets and change it more frequently since I couldn’t reach areas I usually can. It’s also a little bit louder (or perhaps just a different kind of loud) than other vacuums I’ve used. And while I didn’t change the filter yet, the instructions say to let it dry for 24 hours before reinstalling, and that seems like a long time to wait and not use the vacuum.

It is effective with great suction power
on May 26, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had many, many vacuums in my lifetime. So much so, that when I got this vacuum, my husband’s first comment was, “Another vacuum!?” Yes, another vacuum. What can I say? I love a tidy home. Overall, I like the Bissel Clean View Max vacuum. When I took the vacuum out of the box, my first thoughts were that it was very easy to assemble, the materials were sleek and lightweight and I liked the color scheme. I use the vacuum throughout my house on tile, carpets in bedrooms and throw rugs. I use it multiple times a day, after meals in my kitchen, since I have young kids that tend to make large messes during meals. It’s convenient and quick and I find that it’s way more effective and easier than using a broom.
The thing I appreciate most about this vacuum is the suction power. It’s strong and effective and the vacuum makes satisfying lines and markings in the carpet. I love that! Plus, there’s nothing better than seeing your progress in the collection chamber.
I also like that it has an option for suction strength based on your carpet pile and length. It has a button to turn the roller brush on and off depending on the surface you’re working on. This was especially helpful for my front door mat that is usually nearly impossible vacuum without the vacuum getting stuck. This was not the case with the Bissel Clean View Max Lift Off.
The roller brush is great! I can’t explain it, but things don’t tend to get caught up in it like other roller brushes. Even my hair wasn’t wrapped around and stuck to it like other vacuums.
It comes with 2 attachments that I haven’t tried yet, but plan on using when I vacuum out my car next. I do like that each attachment has a holder on either side of the vacuum.
The only thing I’ll mention that I didn’t love was that it felt heavy to push across my surfaces. On my tile, although it was smooth to navigate, it still felt a little heavy. On my carpeted areas, it was noticeably heavier and tougher to direct across tighter areas. I can only assume this is due to the stronger suction power which I am willing to tolerate because it seems to pick up more than my other vacuums did. There is one thing I missed on this vacuum that honestly I didn’t know I appreciated on my prior ones: a light on the front. I guess I never realized how much I relied on a light to make sure I didn’t miss a crumb, but I missed having one with this model.
Overall, I’d recommend this vacuum and model specifically for the suction power and effectiveness. If you want a lightweight vacuum, this isn’t the one for you.

Brought my 1 year old rug back to life
on May 26, 2025
Posted by: AmandaK
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really impressed with the CleanView Max Lift-Off! The vacuum I’d been using before my CleanView is a canister that uses water to trap the vacuumed debris. I’d been really happy with it before, but after using the CleanView Max Lift-Off I quickly found out our old unit isn’t getting our floors as clean as I had thought. We had a rug that I thought was simply worn down. I had tried everything to bring life back to my rug before this and had no luck. I vacuumed it with the CleanView Max and the fibers lifted back up and a ton of dirt came out! My rug looks a lot newer than it did before I cleaned it with this vacuum and I have the dirt I can see to know that it’s a lot cleaner, too. I do have some pros and cons. Pros: 1. Fabulous suction and dirt removal 2. Incredibly easy turning 3. Accessories stored directly on the vacuum without the need for additional closet space to store the vacuum pieces. 4. The pull-out wand is amazing for quick pick-up jobs like cobwebs, baseboard, corners and small areas the vacuum brush head can’t reach 5. Removable canister for uses without brush head 6. Easy emptying and replacement of dust bin 7. Press-of-a-switch for height of brush head and using the vacuum with or without the roller brush spinning. For someone with a fairly even balance of carpet and hardwood, it was so nice to not have to turn off the vacuum, swap the brush head for a hard floor attachment, and swap back when on the next rug or section of carpet. Cons: 1. The vacuum is heavier than I’m used to. While it moves easily and responds well to wrist movement, it does tend to get heavy after using it for more than a room or two. 2. The vacuum cord is shorter than I like. I felt as though I was stopping often to move my plug to the next outlet in order to continue vacuuming. 3. The vacuum is too tall to fit under my cabinets. The wand is so easy to quickly pull out and use instead that it’s not a huge deal, but it is an extra step to get the floor clean.
Overall, despite the few cons I listed, I’m so happy with this vacuum. I was able to easily clean pet fur off of our furniture with the vacuum, also. With two cats and a dog, that’s a big job in this house. The CleanView Max removed all of the fur from our couch, from the fuzzy fur of one cat to the coarse hair of our dog. I’d definitely recommend this vacuum to others!

Lift Off With a Strong Suction
on May 26, 2025
Posted by: Andreamorgan007
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Impressed! It is not everyday that a vacuum can look stylish and be as powerful as the CleanView® Max Lift-Off is! It comes with clear instructions on how to put it together and how to use it, along with each attachment, properly. It does have an on/off button, that is at the top of the vacuum, for easy access. My CleanView® Max Lift-Off has some powerful suction that helps clean my carpet and wood floors. The transition between the different levels and types of floors is flawless, with a strong suction at all times. This suction was able to pick up dirt, grass, gold fish and smooshed grapes just in my first vacuum! Then, when it comes time to clean out the dirt canister, just dump, clean and reattach to your CleanView® Max Lift-Off. Now, your ready for your next cleaning!

Great versatile vacuum
on May 26, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mom of three young kids and two dogs. Having a vacuum that can take on all the messes of my household is a top priority. I've used this vacuum on four different surfaces and it's passed the test: 1) carpet - this is where I found it most effective, which is definitely a priority. 2) rug - I was very impressed in how much I found in the vacuum canister after vacuuming my medium pile rug 3) wood and floor - while it passed the test and did an effective job cleaning a mess of crumbs in my pantry, I did notice some larger chunks would get grabbed by the brush roller but then shot out the back of the vacuum, even on the hard floor setting. There could be some improvement in this area. 4) curtains/blinds - this was my favorite part! The handle of the vacuum disconnects to reveal the wand! I used the attachment to clean my Roman blinds and they look amazing! My one complaint in this area is the wand is a bit too long and can be unruly, whereas the hose is a little too short to reach the top without some effort
The vacuum "feel" is nice, not to heavy but feels rugged. The brush head could be a tad larger to cover more space, and the bin could also be larger for longer runs. I do really love that it has a very reasonable operating volume - it's far quieter than most vacuums I have used, even stick vacuums. Lastly, not a deal breaker, but I wish the power button and the carpet/wood floor button were swapped. It feels more intuitive to have the power on the handle, and I suspect my husband won't notice that he needs to switch the carpet/wood button as he moves between different surfaces because it's just not in a natural line of sight.
These are nuances but overall I am very glad to have this vacuum - it's very versatile, easy to use, and effective.
