I had the horizon 10 installed in my 2012 Jeep wrangler this past weekend and it’s been an awesome experience from the old stock stereo. The features are amazing and the sound is great.

I started about a year ago with the Heigh10 head unit and after working out bugs with the back up camera was pretty happy. Then Stinger rolled out the Heigh10+, Horizon10 and 12. I landed on the Horizon 10 to upgrade one of my Jeep JKUs (I have 2) I decided on the Horizon 10 because I could add XM radio which is not available on the Heigh10+. So far I am super happy with Horizon 10 coupled with a 5 channel Audio Control amp the 12 inch tailgate mounted Sub. I bypassed the factory amplifier completely and the sound difference is nothing short of amazing compared to the factory Alpine set up which is a joke in comparison. If you are on the fence, just buy what your budget will allow and if you can get it all at once, just do it, you won’t be disappointed in the sound and features the Horizon10 offers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install, looks great in the dash. All of the gauges seem to work except the roll and tilt. Prob because the jeep I put this radio into doesn't have the sensors 2012 jk...
I've also ran other models in different jeeps and the experience has been the same!
Seems they have cleaned up.alot of the wiring in the back in the horizon, might be upgrading my heigh10s real soon!

The unit looks and sounds good. It takes forever to connect to Android Auto, and it cant ever figure out a "primary" (connect to first) phone when 2 of us get in the Jeep. I gave up and had it forget my phone completely.

My son had my Jeep while he was away at college. When it got home let's just say there was quite a bit of work that I had to take care of. So in for a penny - in for a pound! I researched quite a few products and decided to go with the Stinger Horizon 10. Really did not get any push back from the wife since she sees it as my son's car. This was an amazing upgrade! I have a '17 JK Rubicon with the factory Alpine system with the amp and the subwoofer - which honestly looks quite dated. I added a backup camera and the iGo navigation card. Going through the first installation was what I would call intermediate - but now that I have done one I would call it easy. The two most difficult parts are sorting out where the wires are going to go and it does take quite a bit of pressure to snap the screen in place - not really difficult but I was being really cautious. But it went in without issue. I also installed the microphone in the factory location - which for me was a no-brainer as I did not want to have it on the steering column. So all in all installation was not not bad at all. Note that you do not need a back up trigger wire - that is all kind of built in. Now for the good part. The sound is incredible compared to the factory "premium" head unit. The difference is incredible. The screen is so bright, big and clear and with the back-up camera you can actually see what is behind you! I really dont need to install reverse leds but since I bought them I will put them in as well - plus it makes my wife happy! Speaking of my wife - she really does not get too excited over a lot of the stuff I get into but on the Stinger !0 Horizon upgrade we can call it "Wife Approved!"

I purchased this unit because it has the wireless AirPlay and the highest waterproofing rating I could find. I drive a 2012 Jeep Wrangler with the top down and occasionally get caught in random thunderstorms. I found the install easy and the directions in the box and online very helpful. Overall very happy so far. It was bigger than I wanted but it fits well in the space. I could not imagine a 12 inch version for the Wrangler though.
