Missing Promised Features

It's been a year of use. Does it lock and unlock? Yes. Has it been updated to Matter connectivity like Yale promised it would be? No. No it hasn't. This was one of the MAJOR reasons I purchased this lock above others. Go with a different retrofit lock if HomeKit integration is important to you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this 8 months ago and when I got around to installing it run into problems connecting the bridge. This is preventing setting up the keypad .

Lock that utilizes your key as a back up

I had a previous lock that was similar and it wasn’t able to sync regularly with 5G. It required 2.4 ghz. This new lock
syncs seamlessly with 5G and is completely dependable. It provides your the opportunity to let guests into your
home or trusted workers when your are not home with the ability to secure your door once they have left. Absolutely love this lock.

This lock is excellent, and I had a relatively easy time installing it. The instructions were clear, and I liked that it can be adapted to any deadbolt. It also worked well with my add-on window blinds. The only challenges I faced were with the magnetic switch, which required a slightly smaller drill bit than recommended, and the WiFi bridge, which took some time to set up. However, I'm very pleased with its performance and integration with Alexa and Google.
I like it because it will lock the door when i leave and unlock when i get back. The fact that it works with most deadbolts and i dont have to buy new locks because it just replaces the inside parts.
I would recommend this to a friend!
