Sound quality is excellent! I purchased the radio in black and love how it looks. This is the second Model 1 that I have owned in my lifetime.

A versatile modern classic

The Model One Radio is a great sounding, compact table radio. A terrific value all on it's own. When you add in the extra features of headphone output and auxiliary input the value just grows. For me the greatest feature is the fact that it has a true FM stereo tuner and can be used via line output as a tuner in a free standing hi-fi. Don't overthink it.......just buy one!

Needed to replace an old Bose Wave Radio with bad reception. The Tivoli Model 1 was a great choice. Liking the retro style and smaller footprint space on my kitchen counter. Reception is GREAT

Nice sound

This compact radio has a pleasing vintage design, nice sound, easy tuning, and excellent reception. Even in my mountainous setting, I can pick up a hard-to-get Vermont Public Radio station quite well, and the dial tuning is very user friendly at helping to hone in on the best spot. The feel of the dial is smooth, and the light helps to know when you’ve got the best spot. I like the design and ease of use. Fortunately, I don’t need to extend the antenna to get good reception for this particular station. The antenna would definitely distract from the aesthetic appeal, and also would increase the likelihood of my cat, knocking it over. I like the design and the quality. I recommend this product.

Just What I Wanted

I wanted a radio that could serve as background music in our kitchen/great room. But I also wanted a radio to complement our art deco decor. This radio fit the bill. The sound is good - even with the antenna pushed all the way down. Would recommend.

Great Radio

I bought this for my sister in Maine so she can ignore the news on TV and instead, enjoy music and perhaps Canadian news. She loves it! The only con is that it doesn't get too many news stations where she lives. Otherwise she loves it for listening to music. I am thinking of one for myself next but I may get the one with Bluetooth. I didn't get that one for my sister because she doesn't bother with it.
