The Tivoli Audio Model One delivers a percise deep ebhance sound and tested with external am fm antennas locks in on radio stations local and distance about 70 miles from New York City. If you don't mind analog tuning I would highly recommend this radio.

I have 4 of these Model one through out my large house.The oldest one is over 20 years old and still works very well.

This sweet radio sounds so much better than I expected. Reading reviews and watching review videos I had some apprehension but my gut said this little one needed to have a home with me... and on my gosh I'm so glad. I tried the radio and I'll have to relearn how to tune in to stations so I switched over to Aux to play music that way... first was Chicken Nuggetz... the song sounds fantastic. So I switched to Deadmau5... holy pickles!!! Even turned up the speaker didn't struggle at all. The sound was perfection. This radio isn't just for talk radio as others have stated... its fantastic for music.. vocals are clear.. the bass is perfect.. the notes in the background that only a good Bose can translate this one can too..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new Model One. It replaced two old Songbooks, which were terrific, btw -- sad they are no longer available. What I preferred was that the Songbook had channel pre-sets, making it a flash to switch channel to channel. Hard to do that with Model One. Sometimes, it's difficult to zero in on a station quickly. But, it certainly looks & sounds better than my old Songbooks. Thanks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the clear audio for listening. And the hand tuning.I grew up with radio and it is still my main source for news. (NPR)Also, the power cord bought for my First generation Pal made the connection. I didn't purchase a battery at the time because I was not certain if the connection was the cord or internal.
