Small footprint with great sound & design

Great small size but big sound quality. Was familiar with this modelradio as my mother has this. Decided to purchase this as a gift for my FIL’s 91st bday in February. He absolutely loves it & it’s been one of few enjoyable things in his life currently. He is a radio connoisseur also & is very happy with it. I had purchased the telescoping antenna but really haven’t needed it where he lives. Overall a great little radio & I would highly recommend it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Sound!

I have been using this radio for about a month and the sound is great. An external FM antenna is the only thing wanting.

Radio is great. Works perfectly on my kitchen counter. Just what I wanted. Sound is a bit deep and cannot be adjusted but still ok with me as it suits my needs. Arrived quickly and well packaged.

A great little classic radio

I have been looking at this Model One for twenty years. Finally picked one up. The craftsmanship is great and sound quality as well. It's not going to bump and thump the house but for listening to tunes or talk it's great and doesn't look like crap in the living room.

Small radio with big sound

In a large open space, kitchen and dining area, the Tivoli fills it with sound that is distinct in different parts of the area. I listen also to the Sangean radio which projects a narrower sound cone; I need to sit in a specific location for voices to be distinct. The Tivoli is on the brighter side of neutral but not disagreeably so. There is an engaging sound to music. It pulls in FM stations easily without distortion and does not require the supplied wire antenna. In contrast, the Sangean struggles to pull in some of the same stations without distortion, despite using an indoor antenna. The all white Tivoli looks at home in my kitchen and its small footprint requires little space. This is a fine small radio without major faults.

Took a while to get it, but works fine

Size, performance, and quality are just what I wanted. I needed a smaller radio that would capture and hold the stations I like while providing decent sound. I am not a radio engineer, but I am satisfied with this purchase. The look is old style, but I prefer it over its digital counterparts. Over four months of use and I am still satisfied. Strongly recommend.
