Tivoli Model One & Analog Sound - WOW!

I was skeptical about the claims made by the raving fans of this "brand" and more specifically of this basic flagship Model One product. My cynicism and apprehension were happily dashed when I opened the box yesterday. No need to read the directions, I think I can figure this out!I placed the Model One on my desk, plugged it in, tuned the dial to my favorite local classic rock station 102.9 MGK and cranked up the volume.Wow, what a great clean, clear sound coming out of this little magic box! Hard to believe in this age of proliferation of digital technological mediocrity, but once I am a delighted audio consumer thanks to a little bit of old school analog simplicity. Thanks Tivoli, nicely done.PS. My only recommendation would be to get/buy a couple of small (1/2 or 3/4 inch high) rubber bumpers to raise the front edge and angle of the radio for better sound dispersion to ear height if required.

I am a computer software company part-owner. I have more sophisticated electronics than most people can imagine. But when I stumble out of bed after a few short hours of sleep, I have nothing civil to say to a 'smart speaker' and I don't want to clean my glasses before trying to find media with my 'iThing'. The Tivoli has two big knobs. Only one is necessary to connect me with my preferred 'national liberal radio'. Done and done. One either understands this or one does not. Best wishes either way!

Love this little unit

Love this little unit, just wish I didn't have to cycle though the AM/FM radio every time to get the AUX turned on, it's unnecessarily noisy

It reception works!

I am old school and listen to a radio while in my office. I have tried a few but they all pale in comparison to the reception the Tivoli M1WHT gets! I set it to a station and don't worry about it cycling in and out of reception like my previous radio's. The sound quality is outstanding also, regardless if music or talk. I happy I purchase this radio and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
